Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Toast Design Consultancy redesigned and rebuilt our  WordPress website to replace our outdated setup. We needed the new site to clearly present our three service divisions - Roeks HR, Roeks Academy, and Roeks Talent - as a cohesive brand.

Their scope of work covered everything from initial strategy to the final launch. Key deliverables included:

Strategy & Planning: Conducting competitor and keyword research, auditing our old site, and mapping out the new site architecture.

Custom Design & Build: Delivering bespoke layouts for our homepage and core service pages, and developing a custom WordPress theme without relying on rigid templates.

Custom Functionality: Developing a dedicated job vacancy board on our Talent page, allowing candidates to view roles and submit applications directly through the site.

Content & SEO: Populating the site with our supplied text and imagery, and setting up foundational on-page SEO to improve search visibility.

Launch & Handover: Handling cross-browser testing and providing customized WordPress training so we can manage day-to-day updates independently.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While we are still gathering measurable outcomes following the recent launch, the immediate outcomes have been excellent. From a design perspective, Toast successfully delivered a bespoke, modern website that finally unifies our HR, Academy, and Talent divisions under one cohesive brand. The user experience is vastly improved, and we now have, amongst many other features, a fully functional internal job board that successfully captures candidate applications directly through the site. On the SEO front, they overhauled our site architecture and implemented strong on-page technical foundations, putting us in a strong position to begin ranking for our core industry terms.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The team met the majority of our deadlines, communicated effectively, and quickly addressed any issues and feedback. They accommodated our needs and produced a wonderful site.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their structured approach and ability to provide expert, strategic direction stood out the most. Unlike our previous agency experience, where we had to heavily dictate the design, Toast took the lead and provided clear recommendations for both design and site structure.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Toast Design Consultancy Limited could have done differently?

Overall, we are highly satisfied with the final website and the quality of their work. The only area for improvement would be project scheduling. The build took longer than the initial 8-to-10-week estimate, so providing more realistic timeline buffers from the outset and proactively communicating milestone shifts would elevate their service. Despite the delay, they delivered exactly what was scoped, and the final product is excellent.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We asked Toast to resdesign our website, moving from an outdated CMS to WordPress.

We then asked Toast to host our website using their servers and to provide ongoing maintainence and support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the look and feel of the website, and the Toast team were extremely helpful in training us and talking us through how the WordPress CMS worked.

They were vert good value and provided us with a website that lasted us for a decade.

Their ongoing support was excellent. We always found them very responsive, helpful, and personable. Support tickets would seldom be waiting over a number of days to be resolved and many were resolved on the day. At forty free minutes of site support a month, we found that good value for money.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management was excellent - the website was delivered on time and all questions were answered clearly and promptly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Toast Design Consultancy Limited could have done differently?

They've been very good in terms of server and storage updates, but more regular check-ins as to what the latest capabilities with WordPress and other CMS functions may have been useful.
