What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

 We almost tripled our inbound leads from our Google Ads. The amount of work they’ve done to optimize the new focus on keywords has been very helpful. They continue to keep an eye on how the ads are performing, and I expect a better outcome.

They perform extremely well. They have never missed a meeting. Their approach was much more hands-on than our previous partners. They're also very, very organized, which we love. The biggest factor is that we’re able to see what they’re doing in real-time. We have access to their Google Analytics, Bing Ads, and Google Ads. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency has done a great job of tailoring their work to our industry. Our other vendor didn’t understand our industry, and it felt like they were outsiders.

We have at least one Zoom or phone meeting with them per month, usually more. The frequent communication has been key, and it has made us feel like one team. The best part about them is that if they don’t know something, they will say it upfront.

We were having some issues with social media because of the global pandemic and, even though we didn’t have a social media teammate on their side working with us, they allowed us to allocate some of Caroline’s hours to another one of their teammates so that it didn't cost us extra.

Thrive Internet Marketing Agency’s honesty, collaboration, and communication make them stand out. I truly look forward to meeting with them, which isn’t the case with other vendors. They’re always such a delight.

They’ve made a huge impact on our company. On average, our total website traffic has increased 135% year over year. Our organic search traffic has also increased 167% year over year. I’ve challenged Thrive a lot, and their team will give more than what I ask.

They’re hugely transparent. Thrive has a customer dashboard where I can track how every second of the monthly hours are divided. I can see who’s working on what initiatives, how many hours they worked, and what they accomplished. We also have a weekly meeting with our main account representative. There hasn’t been a point when I haven't known what was going on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The rate at which they respond is huge. I don’t usually wait 24 hours for a response. Their ability to pivot quickly is important. Their transparency and reasonable pricing distinguish them from other providers.

Be engaged in the process. You get what you put into it. Tell them what you need and what you want, then your expectations will be exceeded. Communicate what you want and need.

Thrive manages our PPC campaigns on Google. They manage keywords and conversions. They essentially enhance the ad spend that Google provides. Their team keeps up with that spend by carefully managing the PPC, conversions, and keywords through Google Ads.

I receive a report and meet with them biweekly to look at the progress and improve anything. For example, we run through any added features on the website to update the keywords and content in the campaigns.

Recently, they took on the management of our social media campaigns. They’re running ads for us on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Their team reports on the ads and engagement monthly.

We also attract new visitors every month. The bounce rates are down a good amount.

In a little over a week, their team increased our likes on Facebook from 100 to almost 600. So far, the response to their social media posts has been great. People find the ads, like them, and share our page.

They’re great communicators. They had a special person who onboarded us, which I thought was unnecessary at first. I quickly realized that she had an important role, which was to connect us with the right person.

Everyone I’ve connected with at Thrive has been professional. Their communication’s straightforward. Every time I come to Thrive with a question, they return with solutions rather than multiple layers of more questions. That’s valuable after working with many different contractors who returned my questions with more requests.

Thrive delivers solutions when we come to them with an issue. They don’t circle around the same issue asking us more questions. When we bring up an issue, their team gives us a solution to move us forward. It’s a straightforward process. They all have that same modus operandi, which I really like.

At the beginning of their sales pitch, they overpromised a bit. When we talked about the $10,000 spend, their team said that they could use it without a problem. We came way under that spend the first month. After a month of reprogramming, they quickly figured out how to spend close to $10,000 each month.

Before you go into the engagement, understand your goals. It will make it easier to get what you want at the end of each month. Ask a lot of questions because there’s a whole lingo associated with social media and PPC. I had them take it slow and explain the different concepts.

When the site went live, we sent out emails to our customers to gather feedback, and the response has been extremely positive. We’ve had more site visits, and our search rankings have also increased. The site itself has a good layout that’s easy to maneuver, and all of our key information is on the home page.

They performed well. Since we had most of the content ready to publish, each side worked to meet their deadlines. The site ended up being a month behind schedule, but that was because we needed to pull back and allocate time for our business.

Regardless, the project management team was extremely responsive throughout the development phase. We held all of our meetings through video conferences, which was nice. I appreciated that I could see the team and put a name to a face.

They do exactly what they say they’re going to do. They met the initial scope of work, kept to the time frame, and produced a nice-looking final product.

No, I don’t have any complaints. I was pleased with their performance, conduct, and approach.

If you know what you want and are confident in your idea, let them know. In our case, we had a good grasp of what we wanted to say and could envision how the site should look. It’s also important to have your content ready to avoid delays. If you need more help defining your ideas, tell them upfront so that they can take the lead.

Thrive Internet Marketing Agency currently manages our SEO effort. Starting the engagement with them was fairly easy because we weren’t starting from scratch. We’d been doing SEO for years, so there was a lot of data for them to work from while evaluating our goals. The onboarding call consisted of building a dialogue rather than going over keywords or statistics. They listened to me describe our company and the industry while writing down thorough notes. We wanted to start slow and see how they perform before expanding our involvement with them.

The first month of the project involved Thrive Internet Marketing Agency performing their due diligence regarding the backend. We didn’t hear from them much during that time, but I knew they were doing their thing. We’ve only contracted them for 10 hours a month, and that time can get burned pretty quickly. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency only recently started this project, so it’s still early to evaluate meaningful metrics. They created a video after the first month that showed there wasn’t any notable statistics to share due to the time it took for them perform a thorough analysis. Admittedly, that surprised me considering how much historical data we have. The subsequent update during the following month indicated that the number of unique hits has dropped on a specific page. That email is roughly three sentences long, so it doesn’t contain statistical analysis. I have faith in their abilities, but what they’re capable of accomplishing inside an hour is yet to be seen.

They’re extremely detail-oriented and track their time down to the second. Looking at the report they provided at the end of September; we can see exactly how many hours they worked and even what meetings were held. They’ve also been a great team to work with thus far. Every person I've spoken to at Thrive Internet Marketing Agency is delightful, intelligent, and sweet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re incredibly responsive whenever I reach out to them or send an email. Their personalities are fabulous, so communicating with them is a pleasure.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't necessarily feel like the communication is in-depth enough. After reading the last mid-month report, I don't I have a clear understanding of the deliverables planned for October. Also, I would’ve preferred the first monthly report to be a live meeting instead of a video. The video didn’t allow me to ask any questions or facilitate an in-depth conversation regarding the project’s goals. Instead, I had to read everything on my own and reach back out to them. That was particularly disappointing because they originally promised live update meetings at the start of the engagement. The plan was to transition the update meetings to video recordings once we established a rhythm.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Approach the engagement with definitive expectations to help manage their output. Marketing agencies tend to know what they should be doing, while not necessarily having access to the resources required to deliver what they promise. Keep that in mind while working with an external firm.

Everything about project management has been great. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency sends regularly scheduled monthly communication, and we even contact them throughout the month. The team doesn’t typically send me too many updates on a project unless I request them. We mostly use email to work together. What did you find most impressive about them?

Thrive Internet Marketing Agency is highly responsive. They offer excellent communication. The team is very diligent about holding meetings.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Along with the numeric reports, I would appreciate expert suggestions about specific things our company can do to improve month over month. The team provides a lot of data, but we don't always understand what those numbers mean or why they've decreased or increased. Proving more explanations would be an area with room for improvement.

I don't think so. Thrive Internet Marketing is definitely a great partner if you're aiming to grow your business.
