We needed help improving our retention through thoughtful design and strategy for our email campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Threadpoint has redone our automated workflows and email flows. The team has also helped us with the design, messaging, and copy for our emails to connect with our different buyers. Moreover, they've helped us with audience segmentation and ultimately generating more revenue through that channel. Threadpoint has worked on all of our major email flows, including the welcome series for anyone who submits their email address, newsletters, promotional emails, and campaign workflows.

We've seen an increase in subscribers, open rates, and landed deals. Our open rate has increased by about 50%, and our subscribers have increased by 25%. One of the biggest improvements has been the design and copy of the emails.

ThreadPoint provided email services for us for a variety of clients. This included driving the entire strategy, communicating directly with our clients, designing the emails, charting the flows, and even scheduling / sending. They handled the entire thing top to bottom for us and every single client saw a bump in performance which allowed us to scale paid media spend.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The average client saw between 40-50% increases in their email revenue. Deliverability metrics improved, revenue per recipient, everything. The biggest difference came when MER was unlocked, which allowed us to scale top of funnel marketing efforts and grow the client businesses.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The ThreadPoint team was incredibly fast with communiation on both slack & via email. This is like old school amazing customer service, whereas most agencies get back to you in days. These guys get back to us on everything almost immediately, they're awesome and we plan to continue to work with them going forward on more clients.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The designs are really thoughtful. They basically take a CRO approach to email design. They're beautiful, but they really seem to understand the science of the consumer. They also take a leadership view at performance. For example, ThreadPoint recommended we NOT give a discount on the first e-mail of the abandoned cart because they thought they could capture similar rates but "there's no reason to give that margin away right off the bat". They were right - we basically added a little margin to every order. No other email agency thinks like that - all they care about is improving their numbers as opposed to thinking like true business owners.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Threadpoint could have done differently?

Pricing can get a bit high when the amount of email sends increase, but with the thoughtfulness put behind every email and the insane performance that follows - it's worth it.
