There seems to be some issues with lead gen as someone else on our team has gotten marketing/sales emails as if we aren't already customers.

Our goal was to create a master storyline across many different customer testimonials that we could turn into one main video, three individual storylines, and six chapter-like experiences on our website that could tell the journey of what it would be like to experience onboarding throughout the sales process.

In a span of a few months, we managed to produce 38 new videos that consisted of both long-form and short-form content. These videos significantly improved the initial impression of potential clients, positioning us as a premium brand compared to our competitors.

The team did a fantastic job managing our multiple storylines at the same time under one massive project. It can be easy to get unorganized but they stayed on top of every deadline from planning, shooting the content, and producing the final videos.

Perhaps a project management review in task manager software once a week would work better for larger projects like ours. Too many emails and documents at that point. You could template the build and share the entire production timeline with the client.

In 2019 we realized that our competitors were beating us in the field of quality video production in both quality and quantity. Our relationship with Testimonial Hero helped us completely turn that around.

We needed footage of our roofing products being manufactured, wrapped, shipped, delivered and installed on a roof, with a nice "after" shot of the finished product. Testimonial Hero was able to deliver all of that, no matter where in North America we sent them. Furthermore, they helped us tell the stories of the people and products that we filmed.

Since 2019 Testimonial Hero has worked with us across North America to capture stories of our customers. From rooftops to manufacturing facilities, no location was too remote and no project was too difficult. We can't recommend them highly enough.

Each video begins with scheduling the customer, setting up the lighting and sound quality, interviewing and recording and finally ends with post production. We receive a final cut that is typically 2 minutes in length, and sometimes have additional smaller cuts to use for social media.

We measure how many views each video receives and we also track how many times sales is sending them to customers. We also take verbal feedback from others.

They then connected with the candidate and interviewed them while guiding them through the filming process. After that they edited the entire interview together and created testimonial videos complete with music and images. They sent us the final products, along with shorter ad cuts.

We've used our testimonials in many ways. We've seen a great increase in our social posts when we use them. We also use these on Vimeo, YouTube, send through email marketing where we see a better click through rate compared to non-video emails. We also share them with prospects that are looking for reviews about our company.

They were very prompt, even reminding me when I was behind on reviewing a video and offering me advice on how to get new candidates to interview. They never let a lot of time go by between a project and always checked in to see if we were ready to start a new one. Delivery was always on time.

The videos they made were very well done and great at guiding the customer when it came to answering our questions and getting the kind of answer we were looking for. Their response time was also very quick. You didn't have to wait days to hear back from them and they never let your project get "forgotten." There were times I was busy and couldn't find a candidate for the video. Rather than let a lot of time go by, they would check in regularly and offer ways they could help.

For 2 days, two videographers came to interview the participants and filmed b-roll shots. Afterwards, they provided the transcript for us to select top sections we want to keep in the video and after 3-4 rounds of edits, the final videos were produced and captions were added.
