I'm a designer at a company that manufactures gear shops, gearboxes, belt conveyors, and basically all the mechanical equipment required for machinery. Our manufacturing plant is located in India.

What challenge were you trying to address with TechWize?

We needed to integrate a CRM tool into our system since we had multiple material vendors and B2B customers. We also had several inventories, warehouses, and distribution channels across India. We needed assistance to set up Salesforce for our company's internal use because our inventory management wasn't aligned properly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TechWize recommended we use Salesforce as CRM tool when we first met with them in their office. We also had an online meeting where we explained the challenges we were facing. We were clear that we needed to implement a CRM tool but weren't sure which one. TechWize implemented Salesforce and integrated it with our internal systems to fetch inventory product data. TechWize also helped us set up Salesforce to use it for customer management, inventory management, and vendor management.

I was mainly in contact with one teammate from TechWize, although I know 3–4 teammates worked on Salesforce's implementation.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

TechWize was a great team, and we were really happy with the results of this engagement. Before working with TechWize, our internal processes weren't aligned. After TechWize implemented Salesforce, we had proper management for orders, customers, vendors, and products. 

Before, teammates involved in our management were dependent on each other's work because we didn't have a centralized CRM to track our activities. Implementing Salesforce removed our dependencies on any other systems or people. TechWize's work met my expectations and helped streamline our processes.

How did TechWize perform from a project management standpoint?

TechWize's delivery was smooth most of the time. There were some instances during the holidays when we had urgencies, and the team was unavailable, but we respected that. TechWize's overall project management was very smooth, and we had no major issues implementing the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I first was introduced to TechWize, I checked their website and saw that they were experts in ERP and CRM systems, especially Salesforce. When I worked with the team, I confirmed their expertise and realized they had certified developers working with them. The most impressive aspect of TechWize was they delivered what they committed to.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything TechWize could improve on.

I definitely recommend working with TechWize and suggest having a predefined management schedule so your teams are on the same page.

However, our previous consultant was unable to deliver the desired outcomes, and we were looking for a new partner to assist us with our requirements.

In response to our challenges, TechWize engaged in a comprehensive analysis of the client’s business, technical, and operational hurdles. This analysis laid the foundation for developing a robust application capable of enabling the financial and statistical reporting crucial to their operations. 

They embarked on a process of designing various reports, each catering to specific needs, while simultaneously reengineering existing processes to align with our complex reporting requirements. This endeavor also encompassed customizing the system configuration to seamlessly integrate the new processes.

Requirement: The Customer was using Salesforce Sales Cloud to support their sales activities and SharePoint system for storing, managing, and sharing their sales documents (quotes, contracts, orders, proposals, Purchase Order, Invoices, etc.) and marketing content (marketing clips, presentations, and videos). There is a lot of confusion on the shared documents as those are kept on two different platforms and tracking of documents was becoming very difficult.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We investigated the business challenges and prepared detailed technical requirements for the application. Using the requirements, the team created a custom application for Salesforce–SharePoint integration with the LWC framework. The application was added as a section in the Salesforce Account, Contact, and Opportunity records. The application enabled real-time synchronization with SharePoint Online, which allowed: 

• Searching for SharePoint files from Salesforce
• Uploading files from Salesforce directly into SharePoint
• Uploading files from Outlook integrated with Salesforce into SharePoint
• Previewing and downloading SharePoint files right from Salesforce
• Associating SharePoint files to Salesforce Account, Contact, and Opportunity records
• Sharing a link to SharePoint files with Salesforce contacts via email

Custom Settings were used heavily to make the solution customizable. Access enablement is done via single sign-on (SSO) using Salesforce SAML settings. A user guide is created by the team for usage and customization details.

Our organization wanted to move towards Power BI technology for enabling data visualizations. The requirement was to analyse the complex SharePoint logs and create the visualizations for governing the files accessed and folders created by their employees. Furthermore, the organization wanted to assign training sessions if anyone needed help creating the new folders in the right format and sharing these reports with the managers. However, these training sessions seemed to be an effort and time-taking process.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Power BI dashboard improved collaboration between the client organization’s employees and stakeholders, and now the need for added training sessions is eliminated. Therefore, the client organization has effectively transitioned to Power BI technology, facilitating data visualizations while also managing the files accessed and folders created by their employees, partners, and stakeholders.

We were in touch with a project manager and two developers at TechWize. In terms of project management, we used PM tool and weekly scrum meetings helped our project to succeed great time.

Techwize build customized salesforce CRM mobile app to create HRMS advance modules like HR Roles, Recruitment Process, Payroll Process, Project Management. Techwize implemented its unique methodology for implementation of Salesforce mobile apps for their client. The methodology was based on the Techwize's experience in implementing the salesforce mobile apps. Techwize evaluated study on business process requirements. This was followed by design blue printing and data migration strategies. Lastly, in the transition phase user acceptance testing was carried out and data migration with validation was performed.

We have worked on multiple projects with TechWize, but here I would like to mention one eCommerce project we did together. We needed to develop an eCommerce store for one of the biggest watch retailer in USA. The eCommerce website had more than 1000 products listed and we needed certain functionalities like, quick checkout, watch finder, trade watches, marketplace for consumers. We needed assistance from end to end, i.e. from design to deployment and support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

TechWize started with the custom designs for the store and after a few alterations, we finalized on the designs. Development cycle was very smooth and all the functionalities were taken care of and they made sure that we don't miss out on any functions.

Project management of TechWize was very good for this project. There was some delays in a few functionalities, but it's absolutely understandable as some situations are unavoidable. But, overall project lifecycle was smooth and we love working with TechWize on projects.
