Tcules is a digital product studio bringing research, design and code into one practice for SaaS product teams. We help teams create new products and evolve established ones for the people who use them.
Our Product Design work draws on user research and product context to understand the problem, structure information and workflows, shape interactions and interfaces, and make complex data easier to understand. We prototype and test product directions before committing to a solution. We build Design Systems that keep products consistent as they grow. We increasingly use AI-assisted workflows to explore and design directly in code, while Design Engineering carries product intent into the working frontend. Where clients need broader ownership, we extend into Software Development and take responsibility for the application through build, testing and release.
We are particularly suited to products that have to support complicated real-world operations, layers of accumulated product decisions, or AI behaviour that people need to understand, verify and control.
Our experience includes B2B SaaS across CRM, productivity, analytics and operational software, alongside consumer software, marketplaces and ecommerce products. We have worked across domains including FinTech, PropTech, HealthTech and EdTech. The work spans web and mobile.
Engagements can begin around a focused product problem, cover a defined body of work, or continue as the product evolves. The mix of research, design and engineering is shaped around the product, its maturity and the capabilities already present in the team.
Founded in 2017, Tcules has worked on more than 90 projects for clients across 19 countries, mainly in North America, the UK and Europe. Our team works together from our studio in Ahmedabad, India.
Tcules - UX design studio offers competitive pricing, often fitting clients' budgets. Project costs range from $4,000 to $200,000, depending on scope and complexity. Clients consistently cite good value for cost and timely deliveries, highlighting their professionalism and flexibility in communication.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope of work involved researching the UX problem space, framing the problem(s) to be solved, and gathering enough evidence and initial direction on what to do next.
Heuristics Evaluation:
They conducted a cognitive walk-through of the functionality to see things from a user’s perspective.
Gain Product knowledge :
understand the functionality of the Processing module by taking the Demo to develop a sense of the current state of design
Understand the system model and the approach used to build the system
Learn about the constraints, feedback, suggestions, and workaround used in the current functionality
Stakeholder interviews (up to 2 stakeholders - Product manager & Training manager) Focus on extracting information from three main areas in UX design:
User needs. How will the design help the users?
Business goals. How will the design support business objectives?
Technical limitations. What technical obstacles need to be overcome?
User research:
Conduct 2-3 user interviews. The respondents will be the actual users of the data processing module.
This was qualitative research: Questionnaire creation, Interviews, Data analysis
Audit report:
Comprehensive review of module/functionality screens and write a report with our observations and recommendations
Empathy workshop:
Presenting the insights from the audit phase to help the key stakeholders understand and prioritize user needs before designing a solution. Through this workshop, we would explain how the user is and shift stakeholder perspectives from a features-first mindset to a users-first mindset.
Deliverables:
User Personas
User Journey Maps

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

There was a detailed Audit report submitted which had a step-by-step summary of the Goal and issues that users would face along with suggested solutions. This helped the stakeholders pinpoint real issues and re-prioritize the product roadmap with clear objectives.
The conceptual gap within the skillset of the stakeholders was also identified and was addressed by organizing a series of workshops by Tcules members which led to a refined approach to product experience design.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Team Tcules was very precise and accurate in their approach to our needs. While there was always a lead who took care of the communication and coordination, whereas every stage was documented and planned well in advance. They were quite flexible on the payment terms as well.
They were also flexible in terms of time, which was required to interact with our stakeholders from across the globe. The audit report submitted was detailed and had plenty of actionable insights for us. They also accepted our request to conduct a detailed workshop to elevate our awareness of UX processes.

Since ours is a niche domain, maybe they could have taken more time or employed deeper methods of doing competitor research. While there is not much data available for free, so extensive methods are required at times to investigate and uncover competitor data :)

Tcules Infotech developed a website for an event planning company. The team was also responsible for all of the UI/UX designs and artwork for the site.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the site is not yet live. However, it has received positive feedback from members of the internal team. Tcules Infotech established a close working relationship with the client to ensure an effective partnership. The team thought outside of the box to create results.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director for an event planning company. We’re a brick and mortar business and we handle global events.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tcules Infotech?
We wanted to create an online site where our customers could provide their profiles and look at the services available via our organization and then book the sale through the website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tcules Infotech is responsible for creating our website, designs, and artwork. We gave them our current operational setup and told them we needed to take it online. We had a conversation and they gave me the wireframes. Then, we ran it by our customers.
After getting the customer's approval, Tcules Infotech completed the entire project. The system we followed through multiple emails is now through one process. They did the platform design and the entire structure. They used AWS.
What is the team composition?
I coordinated with a project manager, a lead developer, and a lead designer.
How did you come to work with Tcules Infotech?
I’ve had a lot of people give me proposals. Tcules Infotech was referred to me by a friend who had worked with them before, but they thought out of the box. They gave me suggestions that I wouldn’t have thought of. They didn’t want me to spend the entire budget on creating wireframes or creating a sample for the customer.
They suggested doing a wireframe first and then if the customer likes it, then make it. They were honest enough to save our costs. That’s why I will be giving all of my future contracts to them. They were referred to me by a friend who had worked with them before.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested between $25,000-$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement ran from January-October 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we got hit by COVID-19, we’ve not been able to look at the extent of the impact. It’s been there but we haven’t used it. COVID-19 has taken a big chunk of our event business right now and many events have been canceled completely.
We’ll be able to test the system in 2022. We’ve shared the website with our entire team and they love it. They tried the system themselves and loved it. All my clients in Singapore and Malaysia were already on test mode when we had to shut the business down.
How did Tcules Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent. They had out of the box thinking that I would not have been able to do as a layman. It was as if I had another partner on board. We had one-on-one contact with them through email. When things got complicated, we’d have a phone call once a week.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We had around 10 providers that came to us. Tcules Infotech looked at us as a partner and not just a client. I’m very spontaneous and like to do things quickly. They slowed us down and gave us the right direction. They helped us navigate the online space.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The speed of development could be improved. They have multiple projects on hand and this was the fastest they could get with the changes that we were doing. I’d love them to speed it up a bit. Instead of a six-month project, do it in at least four months.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t get technical. Let them do their job. Give them your basics and they will give you the structure. If you try using technical points, they won’t be able to fit it into your project. They may give you a better solution than what you currently have.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of The Wandering Raven. We teach creative writing to kids, both online and in-person.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tcules Infotech?
Our website had been originally built by another company, but it was poorly done. The site crashed all of the time.
We approached Tcules Infotech for a website redesign that would fix the issues left by the previous company.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We went to them for UI design. We wanted illustrations and custom characters, so they did some digital art for us as well. They did the brand design and set up user flows.
They helped us develop the platform, performing some user research as well. We’re using the Moodle platform for the site, along with other technologies.
We had a couple of calls with both of our teams to convey the idea of what we wanted from the site. It’s a unique and quirky site, unlike others in the area.
The team asked us a lot of questions and gave me some rough sketches. I also gave them design examples. Along with my feedback, we worked iteratively until we came up with designs that both teams were comfortable with.
What is the team composition?
I started working with two team members who were in charge of design and development. One of them was a UX/UI designer, and I spoke to him the most.
There were 2–3 people on the design team. They brought in a Moodle developer at the implementation stage. In total, I’ve worked with about six people.
How did you come to work with Tcules Infotech?
They responded to the open proposal we had on Upwork. We had a couple of calls, and I took them through our original site. Their team understood quickly what needed to be done.
My team was very cautious because of our experience with the previous web developer. After a few calls with Tcules Infotech, we realized that they would pay attention to our needs and to the different aspects of the site that were important to me.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $4,000–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Tcules Infotech in November 2019, and the engagement wrapped in April 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The most important thing for me was that parents that weren’t very familiar with technology would understand the registration process easily.
It’s step by step, and it’s all very intuitive, so not many clients call our customer service number with questions. I also wanted to stand out to people through how attractive and engaging the site design is, and a lot of parents have told us that they find the site unique, and that’s why they chose to give us a shot. People take another look and stay a little longer.
We still go to Tcules Infotech for minor fixes. They’re always happy to make changes for us.
How did Tcules Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything went smoothly. The only hiccup in the beginning was during the design stage. I don’t think they realized how much work would need to go into it since it was all custom design. It wasn’t a big hiccup, and we figured it out pretty quickly. It was pretty smooth from there.
They were really good from a project management standpoint. They sent us meeting minutes after every call, along with the next action points for their team and ours. They sent us follow-ups if we were even a day late on something we were supposed to give them, and they let us know in advance if they’d be late.
The timeline matched what we discussed in the beginning, and we were happy with the project management.
We didn’t use management tools on our side. Most of the work was done through email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team at Tcules Infotech invested time into getting to know our company’s vision. They never made me feel that they wanted to rush.
I don’t think that a lot of the other companies I’ve interacted with would’ve done that for me, and it’s something I really appreciated with their team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The world of creative writing and education was a bit different for them, especially given the quirkiness of our company. They weren’t completely sure in terms of design.
They could’ve done a bit more research on the inspiration sites I sent them, but it wasn’t a big hiccup. There wasn’t much else I could’ve asked for with the team I worked with. It was a very smooth process.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Their team is invested in getting to know the company as much as possible. Anything an organization might have in mind, however big or small, they should just communicate that to their team.
The client shouldn’t think that it might be a bother or waste of time. Their team takes the full picture into account when coming up with designs.

Tcules Infotech redesigned a Magento website's UX/UI, in addition to offering SEO services. They work with a variety of technologies — CSS, HTML, JavaScript — to create and implement design wireframes.
The digital expertise Tcules Infotech provides is a key value-add. Specifically, their data-driven approach to UX/UI design has shifted the client's entire approach to their website. Tcules has been responsive throughout, handling technical challenges with transparency and a stand-out work ethic.

client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of an advertising company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tcules Infotech?
We went to them for UX/UI design and improvement of our organic search results on Google.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with SEO. Even though we have some of our own ideas on what the keywords should be, Tcules will do research to validate that those keywords are viable enough to put effort into.
Regarding the UX/UI, Tcules did an initial heuristic audit of the website, identifying issues and delivering a report. We could only afford to improve certain pages at that point in time, so we did the homepage, the product page, the listings page, and the checkout pages. Later, in 2020, we reworked the information pages, contact pages, and the customer dashboard.
Tcules is also doing the technical work behind developing the wireframes and implementing the designs. Some out-of-the-box thinking has gone into their translation and migration of the wireframes into the Magento foundation of the website. Tcules also does a lot of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript work.
We finished phase three of the redesign in 2020, and the SEO is ongoing.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with an account manager and a UX/UI designer. The resource who did the wireframing did the UX audit, and he handled the CSS work as well. The third person is a technical resource. There’ve been 3–4 people in total.
We’ve also had a lot of contact with the director as well because he’s very enthusiastic about our project. We get hands-on advice from him.
How did you come to work with Tcules Infotech?
Our first introduction to them was through their sales resource who acquires customers. He’d worked on another project as part of a previous company, and that company wasn’t doing so well. That company didn’t offer SEO services, and at the time, we were looking for an SEO company to work with, so he helped us with that. From there, we were introduced to the UX/UI aspect of tackling the website’s design.
How much have you invested with them?
The total is around $50,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the SEO work with them in November 2017. We weren’t happy with some of the aspects of our website, and we mentioned them to their director. He advised to have a UX audit done, so, at the beginning of 2018, we took the leap to do the UX audit.
Starting in 2018, we decided to take a structured approach to redesigning the website. Thankfully, even though we didn’t have the budget, they were able to accommodate us with a phase-by-phase approach.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Much of the data we monitor is linked to multiple processes, some of which Tcules touches and some of which they don’t. Apart from that, it’s been very difficult in the last year with online sales. Because of the switch to online shopping, it’s very difficult to work out where the growth is coming from at the moment.
The target metrics for the e-commerce site are sales numbers and conversions, while for the SEO side we focus on growing organic visitors. Unfortunately, there’ve been some slight discrepancies because the analytics software didn’t allow us to monitor microdata until recently, in terms of conversions per acquisition type — paid advertising versus organic. This stems from some technical issues we had implementing Google Tag Manager. We’ve only had that running since the end of October 2020.
While our conversion data was unreliable, we focused on bounce rates using Google Analytics, looking at the details of mobile devices versus desktops. We hoped to see bounce rates shrink after each phase of development, as well as the pure numbers of the business increase.
How did Tcules Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s not a very formal relationship because we’ve been working together for so long. We have continual reviews where we look at what’s going on with the numbers, and their director is very enthusiastic about our project. If something isn’t going right, we can reach out to them, and they give us suggestions. For example, the search functionality on our website isn’t very good at the moment, and they’ve suggested certain things we could try to improve that. Rather than requesting an entire analysis (and being charged for it), quick advice can make a difference.
We use Google Sheets for updates, and Skype for communication, which is almost daily. If we need something improved on an ad-hoc basis, we’ll speak directly with the UX/UI team. We try not to waste their time too much, however, because we like to work on just one thing at a time, rather than having several ideas bouncing around.
Despite us being time zones apart, we get great responsiveness. I haven’t received any complaints, either, which is why we’re still working with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve learned a lot as a business about how to approach our website, including lessons we hadn’t even thought of. Previously, we believed that the best way to design a website was to sketch it out and tell Tcules what we want, but we realized that a better way to do it was to look at microdata. There’s a whole industry of people that specialize in heuristic evaluations, UX/UI audits, surveys, and customer research — even on topics like colors, fonts, and the sizes of buttons.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t know what could be done better because I’ve never worked with another company, outside of one that was shockingly bad. If there has been something Tcules could improve, it probably isn’t significant because it’s not coming to my mind straight away.
There are certain aspects that both sides are responsible for, however. If they suggest a type of design that we’re not happy with, we’ll let them know what we prefer, and they’ll accommodate us. They go beyond the level of service we expect from them based on their cost. In some respects, we’re doing better than what we’re paying for.
When they did the first phase of the development, which was the redesign in 2018, they actually lost out on quite a lot because they underestimated the size of the project. Magento wasn’t letting them do a lot of the things they thought they’d be able to do with design, so they spent extra hours on the project without charging us extra. They were transparent about the technical issues, and we were willing to wait a bit to let the project launch the way it ought to be.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Ensure that the time zone works for you. We’ve worked pretty hard on this project, including outside our normal hours, and Tcules is available most of the time.

Our Story
Tcules began as a UX and UI studio but evolved when we realised most product issues are not design problems, they are thinking problems. Growing SaaS teams often struggle with feature sprawl, weak foundations, and scattered AI use.
Today, we are a design-first, AI-native product studio that turns intent into clear, scalable systems.
We design flows before screens, build systems over surfaces, and focus on long-term clarity.
What Sets Us Apart
Intent to System Thinking
We don’t jump to screens. We translate raw product intent into structured flows, architecture, and dev-ready systems before visual polish begins.
AI-Native but Human-Led
We use AI to accelerate clarity and execution, but key product decisions remain human. Speed without judgment creates fragility.
Built for Scaling the Products
Our work reduces feature sprawl, UX inconsistency, and design-engineering gaps, helping growth-stage products scale with confidence.
Premier Verified means Clutch independently confirmed Tcules - SaaS Product Design Studio is a legally registered business, has had its financial risk status checked (Creditsafe: Moderate Risk), and is backed by 12 verified client reviews averaging 4.8 stars.
