Now, I’m hoping to seel out their services in helping me find a job placement in a new career.

Thanks to Talencore’s counseling, I got a better understanding of the new career I wanted to get into. Kelly was extremely informative and explained how to perform recruitment work competently. She was also very patient, encouraging, and easy to talk to, which helped me put my mind at ease. Additionally, she came well prepared for the meeting, and I found the information she gave me very helpful. Overall, I was very pleased with her service.

How did Talencore perform from a project management standpoint?

No project management was required for our partnership; I simply paid for a service they provided me. Still, Kelly met her obligations as expected, and the calls we had were very organized. Although we faced some technical difficulties, Kelly found solutions for those challenges.

Overall, Talencore demonstrated to be extremely competent, organized, and patient, and they answered all of my questions. For only $50, Kelly spent five hours with me, which really exceeded my expectations. We communicated via email and video calls.

One of the things that distinguished Talencore from other providers was the fact that they were one of the few companies that reached out back to me. I was very appreciative of that.

Talencore provides us with a variety of HR services. We started the partnership with Talencore by having them hire individuals for the technical positions that we needed for our industry. That later evolved to include hiring a part-time HR management team. They also advise on HR policies. 

Talencore’s team shortlists candidates and coordinates with me and my chief architect to run through the list of candidates. They then run the full interview process. Their team follows my business workflow — I require all of my potential candidates to pass security and background checks so they do reference checks by calling previous employers and references provided by candidates. 

Their team also helps me navigate governmental grant processes and handles the grant paperwork.

They provide on-demand service — I can even contact them for hiring advice on the weekends. I relay positions I need to be filled to their team and they are in charge of kicking off the entire hiring process. There are clear expectations and they are very efficient.

I’ve only worked with them, so I have no external experience or data to compare their work to, but I think Talencore is great. Sometimes small companies try to do everything, but they specialize in this area and are very efficient and professional. 

Their advisory services and insights are invaluable to us. They understand our company culture, how we work, and our expectations — they’re able to take all of that context and vet candidates along those lines.

I would advise clients to set up clear expectations at the beginning of the partnership to ensure it works in your favor, no matter how long it takes. 

More generic advice would be to not rush into a contractual agreement at the very beginning, sit down with Talencore and explain the HR needs of the company, the culture, and expectations. That way clients can get candidates that fit the company well. It will also improve the partnerships’ workflow because Talencore will understand what is expected of them.
