Please describe your company and your position there.

Orange Socks Pte Ltd is a media production house based here in Singapore. Founded in 2017, it has successfully produced many programmes in various genres from documentaries to telemovies to long form- drama series both in Tamil and in English. I am the Executive Producer and Founder of the company

For what projects/services did your company hire t-eight pte ltd, and what were your goals?

I had worked with T-eight for a number of projects. Our first project was Akka and Mei Mei. It was a 90min Deepavali Telemovie commissioned by MediaCorp Singapore Vasantham. Senthilnathan from T-eight was hired as the Director of Photography for this telemovie. It was our 1st debut project for our company, so we had to deliver it to the best quality. T-eight definitely delivered its best. The telemovie won Best Telemovie Award in our Annual Tamil Emmy Awards. The show was also shortlisted as a nominee for Best Telemovie for Asian Television Awards.

T-eight is helmed by an award winning cinematographer Senthilnathan. We are aware of his good work and great visuals. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him. His visual brilliance definitely elevated our shows to the next level.

We started with the storyline. T-eight was involved in reading the script and giving us their valuable inputs. T-eight was involved in the recee of the filming locations. T-eight also sourced out for the best video equipment to accentuate the story telling. After the filming of the show, T-eight also attended the colour grading and the editing of the show. It was a project that T-eight was heavily invested from the start to the end.

We worked with Senthilnathan from the start till the end. He was very committed towards the show, always engaging with the story tellers and the director of the show to ensure the visuals enhance the storytelling.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was very pleased with the show's output.The show received much compliments. The telemovie went on to win Best Telemovie Award in our Annual Tamil Emmy Awards. The show was also shortlisted as a nominee for Best Telemovie for Asian Television Awards. It was a great teamwork as such we engaged T-eight for yet another successful project.

Senthil is very clear in his communication and his thoughts. He verbalised his concerns onset of the show, prompting us to enhance the script content. They also kept to the delivery timeline and accommodated our time and budget constraints.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

T-eight took time to understand the project and helped us from the start to the end. It showed their utmost professionalism towards their clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They did an awesome job at delivering the best to us.

We are working on a very tight budget to engage a company to support our in-house team to produce TV Commercial without compromising the Production Value.

We chose the vendor because of their affordable price, team dynamics and their quality deliverables.

We started with discovery meeting. They worked with us to understand the support we needed in producing the video. They gave valid advise on how we can elevate the production values with existing materials. They provide the production crew( including DP and Cam ops), very professional and has a very good eyes for details and aesthetics. They go beyond their required services in providing guidance to the in-house team when we started the post-production.

We worked with the project manager Senthil. It was a pleasant experience. We not only managed to produce the video but the in-house team also managed to learnt a lot from them. They are not just a great partner but a great teacher too.

They specialise in high speed and cinematographic services. They are among the first in Singapore to speicalise in high speed and good at it.

For now, they are heading the right direction. Always innovating.
