Fudex is a an app that allow consumers of restaurant stores, to order and pay through their sartphone without the need of queing

For what projects/services did your company hire Sysgarage?

We hired them to finish our manager webapp, and to add features to our mobile app

What were your goals for this project?

To have our manager webApp ready to be used. To have our mobile app with the feature to serve self-service stores, since we only hay the feature for waiter served restaurants.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We began defining the features we wanted to add to our product and the possible users and customers that could require our platform. Later on we worked on the UX and UI of the app and webapp. In the beginning they took care of the webapp, developed in React, and later on they took charge of the mobile app developed in React Native.

What was the team composition?

Fernando was the produc owner. Then there were two other developers working on Fudex and also a UX designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were able to validate the model of restaurant that we were going to serve, and we were able to finish our product and put it in the street. Since then we began working with various other restaurants and validating the new features to be implemented.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The deadlines were not always complied, but here there is a point that is not responsability of Sysgarage. The development of the back end part of our platform, depended on a developer that was out of their control and the time that he had to advocate to the project was simply not enough to cope with the advances that Sysgarage offered. We used Slack, Trello, Zeplin, amongst others.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were able to deal with our structure where we were working in not normal hours, and also when validating at night time, they were physically there with us when required.
