Key technologies include C#; the software is hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses .NET. Exilion Technologies Inc provides bug fixes, including deployment issues causing cascading effects and errors on our data feed. They’ve also moved our staging site to Microsoft Azure for automatic deployment.

They consistently work on the tasks we need them to, and they do it for less than other companies we’ve worked with. We don’t have to spend a lot of time explaining concepts because they understand our business model and the code base. They work self-sufficiently and quickly.

They have strong communication, and they are efficient in their work. Everything is running smoothly, and they are extremely focused. We use Jira as a project management tool and use a kanban board. We also use Slack, email, and phone calls for communication.

They give us excellent guidance and are highly transparent in a way we haven’t experienced with previous developers. They also ask questions to ensure we are aligned.

We’ve had a few bugs that we’re working through, but they’re doing a good job with that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Exilion Technologies Inc developed an NFT platform for us. We started with a discovery phase; we researched for a couple of months to decide how we wanted to implement our NFT software. We researched alternative products that our competitors’ software had, and we came up with a guideline to follow. After that, Exilion Technologies Inc started implementing our plan until we had a proof of concept. After that, we spent a couple of months polishing the software.

The software was an NFT platform with blockchain functionality. The second item they built was the backend on top of the database. This layer helped us connect the data from the blockchain to the frontend implementation. Another item was a mixed frontend implementation done partially by Exilion Technologies Inc and partially by a third party. As for development technologies, they used Java, JavaScript, and .NET.

We’re not the end user of this software; we’re selling it, so we don’t have specific metrics in regard to the software's performance.

We had very transparent communication. I had an understanding of all of Exilion Technologies Inc’s processes, and we were able to mitigate all issues pretty well. Transparency was one of the reasons we were so successful in terms of money and time management.

I’m the founder and CEO of AMLOK, a B2B decentralized application built on the blockchain. We allow real estate companies and other businesses to create and manage fractional asset ownership.

What challenge were you trying to address with Exilion Technologies Inc?

It’s hard to break down the red tape of accessing liquidity for business expansion plans and to open franchises, and we saw a lack of liquidity in the real estate market. Companies were struggling to sell and offload properties and needed a place to break down these pieces into fractions on an intuitive platform to help find everything and manage it. 

We hired Exilion to build this platform to make it easier for real estate companies to access more liquidity and sell properties faster at their desired prices.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The platform as a whole is a decentralized application. The project's first stage was gathering data and involved a brainstorming process. Exilion was transparent about what they advised for the platform and the features they thought would make the product most successful. 

Phase two focused on finetuning everything that we came up with. We are currently in phase three, which has been all about QA and making sure we’re prepared for the proof of concept phase. 

We’re building a white-label platform to allow users to leverage blockchain in the most effective way possible. With this platform, we can go to a company and look at the properties that have been in their pipelines for the longest time. The property will be minted into multiple NFTs, and users will be able to launch a campaign with a fundraising goal that gets sent out to all of that user's investors with an automated email. 

The page will allow investors to invest directly in the NFTs and will be governed by a smart contract that allows the investor and the real estate to maximize the yield generated without having any middle person. 

Our expansion plan includes becoming the kickstarter of Web3 and to allow anyone who wants to expand but cannot get liquidity from their bank or an investor to do so. Users can launch a campaign with a date and time, and people can invest in the project and give back real-world yield based on the performance of this real-world asset or business. 

Exilion’s developers are full stack blockchain developers, and the language used on the platform is Solidity to run the smart contracts on Ethereum.

From previous experience and dealing with other technical vendors over the years, we know that Exilion is more efficient and optimized. We plan on using them for all technical needs from here on out; as long as the platform is running, we’ll be working with Exilion.

They’re highly professional and follow up consistently. They don’t ask questions unless they really can’t find an answer, and all of the questions they ask are thoughtful and don’t waste our time. They almost always finish with days to spare on the deadline, and the work is never rushed. 

Exilion uses a time tracker on their end that gives us breakdowns of where time is being spent so we can look when we get an invoice. We use Telegram and Zoom for communication, and Google Docs and Sheets for strategy and brainstorming. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve really become an extension of the team and offer us honest guidance on what they think is going to be the most successful for us. We really appreciate that Exilion is affordable but still provides talented developers. We’re blown away that we’ve been able to find this kind of top-tier talent for this price. They go above and beyond to provide us with high-quality, and it feels like they care about what they’re providing us. 

We feel relaxed working with Exilion, especially being able to work with their CEO. The team is proactive, and they go out of their way to think about things that they could potentially add; it’s never to add cost, but rather to let us know about other options that are out there. We trust them fully because they give us such a high level of transparency. 

We like their approach because it’s very straightforward, which we feel saves us a lot of time and effort.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We already had an MVP that was built by our previous developer, but they couldn’t fulfill their part in the development. Exilion Technologies reached out and turned that MVP into a viable web app while adhering to our strict budget limitations.

We initially provided our services through Zoom, so we only sent stream links to our clients to basically teach them how to use the tool. Exilion thought it would be better for the process to have its own web app, so they laid out a strategic flowchart to build one.

They were still able to utilize some of our technology and created a way to use our data to power the web app. We expected them to give us the MVP of the web app, but they ended up delivering the final product.

Exilion Technologies brought in the flexibility we were looking for with this app. We now have customers who are doubling up on their expenditure with our service, and they’re now able to choose the market or instrument they’re interested in — whereas before, they were just locked in with the ones we were able to stream.

Moreover, we’ve increased our income to 40–50% thanks to what they provided for us.

Their project management was better than expected and their communications were always 100%. They laid out a detailed very detailed plan for the development, asked the right questions, and listened to exactly what we needed. Whenever we had any immediate issues and changes, we communicated directly with the coder through a specific private group and Skype. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with their approach to the development. For them, anything is possible and can be done as long as we could afford it. Whenever they were faced with challenges, they listened to our suggestions, implemented the solutions, and made them work.

I don’t have any idea how they could improve because they’ve always been there for me. We had a better experience working with Exilion Technologies compared to our past vendors.

Our system handles the entire business of the exchange. We need different expertise from different teams to work on the various aspects of the project to make the system function properly.  

We were looking for the right teammates and resources to make it happen.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Exilion is one of the teams that put together the architecture of our microservices. They work on our API layer that our clients use to interact with our platform. They also handle the messaging tool that connects different microservices. Additionally, they check that all transactions are valid before they go to the exchange. 

We have to make an exchange engine that is compliant with securities laws while being flexible so we can reconfigure based on the country we go to, and Exilion is helping us with that. They’re also supporting the development of our wireless service, which manages all the different Blockchains.  

In addition, Exilion assists us in coming up with the architecture for supporting all the parts, pieces, and the overarching business logic of all of the independent institutions.

Recently, we tasked Exilion with a deployment project. They put together availability, disaster recovery, and performance tests. They made sure users had what they needed for an optimized experience. Their team had also implemented tweaks after the tests.

Exilion’s scheduling is fine, but their communication can be improved. Sometimes, I’ve thought specific tasks were in progress, but they were already done. I occasionally miss out on communication, and it’s partly because the project is extensive, and a lot is going on to coordinate. 

Additionally, Exilion doesn’t have any problem working with other development teams. It’s a massive project, and one team can’t handle everything — we need the expertise and collaboration of multiple groups. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like their work ethic. One of their teammates has worked an 18-hour shift just to make sure that they got through. 

In addition, Exilion’s team is not timid to argue. Some people may not like that, but I prefer that in my line of work. I want to get the best results for our clients and users, and I don’t need yes-people on my team. 

Sometimes, we battle it out, but at the end of the day, we get results. After arguments, we go back to our professional status, and no feelings are hurt — that’s how we work together, and we’re comfortable like that.

They can improve on their communication and updates. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that you hash out differences. Don’t be overly sensitive and leave your egos behind. Someone might have an idea or way of doing something that’s just bad. If you can’t call out the other party, you won’t get the best of the engagement — that applies both to the vendor and the business owner. 

In addition, ensure that subject matter experts are part of the conversation and that communication is open both ways.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Exilion started out as our advisors, helping us navigate our way towards securing investors. They then provided us with a development team when it came time for us to build out our platform. 

Exilion developed the web-based platform on Ethereum and Solidity and made it compatible with Binance Smart Chain and Polygon. Along with managing certain parts of the blockchain technology that dealt with smart contracts, they also executed the frontend and designed the UI. We relied on the team to put together the algorithms for the staking pools, which are quite complex. 

Their team also built protocols on existing borrowing and lending platforms to allow us to deposit or withdraw money on behalf of our users. Exilion also created a function that could enable us to pay out in tokens on a dividend basis where users who have a certain stake in an entity could get a portion of the interest for that.
