They provided us with some deeper aspects, along with some practical approaches to onboard with regarding our development plans during the meeting call. This stood to us as a full-proof plan for our business goals, that’s why we selected them.

This project is a social coordination app for social and workgroups whether they want to get together online or in the real world. It allows seeing how the plans evolve through a conversation while synchronizing with events/contacts/chats and online calendar.

We have been very happy with the application. It went through several iterations in order to best satisfy our challenges. Apart from this, they were fully engaged in our project, always took immediate action and did it well without any delays.

Our team collaborated quite effectively with them. Sunmait team listened attentively to our queries and suggested solutions promptly as well as gave their insights and expert opinions into how this could be made better.

We appreciate this company for many reasons. The team was flexible, proactive, and open-minded about the changes we proposed. What was crucial for us was their quick reaction time. Overall, we can say that we had an excellent collaboration with Sunmait Technologies' team.

Sunmait is a type of company that always looks for improvements on its own, so we didn’t have any suggestions during our collaboration.

Aligned Code is a product software boutique and we partner with Summate to extend our engineering capabilities on e-commerce projects. I was responsible for account management and chosen the right e-commerce vendor.

We hired Sunmait for migration of PHP monolith app + MySQL database to the NodeJS microservices with MongoDB database at backend and rewriting existing static website to ReactJS SPA application.

We really liked their responsiveness, thoroughness, and cost. After viewing Sunmait’s portfolio, talking to them we decided to go with them. Another deciding factor was their approach: from the very beginning, we felt that we have a very transparent relationship with a very professional team.

The legacy system was written as a monolith with outdated design and the decision was to migrate it to the microservices for a better scaling to support the growing number of users. In the old architecture, everything was handled by a single monolith while microservices allowed the system to have: - Warehouse application responsible for products and stock management - Shop application responsible for product purchases - Orders service responsible for basket/order functionality - Single MySQL instance was replaced with MongoDB replica set cluster

Overall, the quality of their output was exactly what we were looking for. It matched our development pace from the methodology to the groundwork and final output.

Sunmait developers were eager to find solutions and were very flexible. We faced several challenges, and they were able to identify several different ways to resolve them. Moreover, they weren’t just delivering to match our user acceptance criteria but rather participating in our architectural decisions during the development. It really helped us achieve a great outcome.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They performed very well. The executive touchpoints were once a week, and we had direct Slack channels with the engineering team. That provided constant communication between us. And if there was an issue Sunmait was on top of it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing off the top of my head. It’s been a great outsourcing experience.

We hired Sunmait for developing a cross-platform mobile version on React Native. We wanted to make a truly useful product to our community and implement features that are going to make the wallet functional, whilst ensuring clean, easy to use, and functional design and UI.

The application, developed on React Native represents crypto multiwallet for creating and operating with subwallets: BTC, ETH, ERC20 tokens, and others. It provides a wide range of functionality and is the core software for managing and engaging with blockchain tokens.

They were on time and on budget and remained exceptionally flexible with late changes in requirements. When they know what to build, they build exactly to the agreed specifications. I greatly appreciated that because I always knew where I stood with them.  My experience has exceeded the expectations, to be honest.

We had weekly status meetings. Sunmait was were very structured and good at clarifying what they’re doing and setting expectations, so, no question went unanswered. We handled project management on our end, and they adapted well to our preference of using Jira to track tasks.

We're impressed by their attention to detail, as well as the overall ease of working with them.

What concerns the disadvantages - I can’t think of any.

I met one of the company's principals and discussed the project with him. I was impressed by his knowledge and ideas on how to complete the project. Sunmait Technologies was also more thoughtful and responsive than other vendors.

My team updated frontend specifications based on advice and feedback from Sunmait Technologies. Then, they completed the prototype. They developed the frontend using React.js and integrated it into our existing backend.

The team made changes and updates based on user feedback, and they incorporated new features as the project progressed. They handled authentication and developed the API.

We communicated directly with a team of three developers, and a project manager was available as needed.

There were no bureaucratic issues nor delays in starting the project, which was very important for me.

The estimates were a bit off, but I admit it’s hard to estimate large projects without splitting them into microtasks, so those errors were expected.

Customizing/enhancement of existing functionality (cryptocurrency exchange app components such as cryptocurrency list, order book, recent trades, etc.) and UI changes (layout, color updates)

The project is based on a template provided by another company which is a set of components for a cryptocurrency exchange project. The template provides UI components and API for login flow, trading, displaying information about the market, 2FA, KYC, user settings, charts.
