I am the marketing manager of Grupo Electro Stocks.

Grupo Electro Stocks (GES) is a leading wholesaler in the electrical distribution sector with more than 500mill. € revenue and more than 60 distribution points across Spain. My role is e-commerce manager, and I am in charge of all the digital channels.

We had competitive pressure and digitalization needs: Key competitors in the industry were launching their own B2B commerce platforms, putting pressure on Grupo Electro Stocks to invest in digitalization to avoid falling behind. We needed a partner who was fluent in our tech stack (Intershop Commerce) and we found that Sugerendo was skilled and had hands on experience.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Along these 8 years of cooperation, the project manager has been the same person, no changes. The assigned project manager has incredible knowledge not only on the e-commerce technology we use, but also in every aspect of our internal processes. I could even say we feel like he is part of GES now…  He has been able to consistently determine the size and composition of the team in order to meet our needs in time and budget.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A lot of changes in UX/IX have been achieved. This has led us to a 18% Increase in revenue compared to the previous version of the platform.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Sugerendo could have done differently?

Maybe to add a more sophisticated testing process.
