Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Studio Redeye was engaged to support the development of a new, cohesive line of drying products under the Clorox brand. The objective was to create a unique and functional product assortment, with each item designed to complement the others while maintaining a unified design language.

Given that this was a completely new category for our company, the process began with extensive research and design exploration. Studio Redeye collaborated closely with our in-house product development team, as well as cross-functional partners across marketing, engineering, and sourcing. Their team actively integrated feedback from all stakeholders, helping to align on a final concept for each item.

Key deliverables included design ideation, concept refinement, and engineering-ready files. Studio Redeye’s ability to distill diverse input into a single, commercially viable design for each product played a critical role in bringing this line to market. Their work concluded with fully engineered, production-ready designs that required only minor adjustments prior to manufacturing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The product was part of the six-piece KeptClean line, successfully licensed to Clorox. It launched into major retail, with strong buyer interest and positive internal feedback for its multifunctionality, space-saving design, and marketability.

Studio Redeye demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement. They maintained clear timelines and communicated proactively at each stage of the project. Deliverables were consistently submitted on schedule, even when revisions or additional input were required from multiple stakeholders.

Their responsiveness was exceptional. Studio Redeye remained highly engaged and adaptable, quickly addressing feedback from our internal teams and incorporating suggestions into revised concepts. They facilitated collaborative working sessions and followed up with clear documentation and updates, which helped keep the project moving efficiently.

Overall, their structured and flexible approach to project management ensured that all milestones were met and our expectations were not only fulfilled but exceeded.

What stood out most about Studio Redeye was their ability to blend creative vision with practical execution. Their design approach was both innovative and grounded in real-world application, resulting in products that were not only visually compelling but also commercially and manufacturably viable.

Their global design perspective—shaped by backgrounds in both New York City and Europe—brought a refined, modern aesthetic that helped elevate the Clorox brand in a meaningful way. Additionally, their ability to synthesize feedback from diverse teams into a single, unified design direction was especially impressive and made them an invaluable partner throughout the development process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Studio RedEye could have done differently?

While Studio Redeye was a strong creative partner and very responsive throughout the project, one area that could enhance future collaboration is providing clearer communication when design changes are being made. As with many creative processes, there can be a gap between how designers think and how non-designers interpret those changes. At times, updates were made based on solid design rationale, but without a full explanation or visual context ahead of time, it was difficult for our broader team to fully understand the direction.

This occasionally led to misalignment and the need to revisit earlier concepts, which impacted timelines. A more deliberate effort to bridge that communication gap—especially before key changes are finalized—would help ensure everyone stays aligned and confident in the evolving design direction.
