My company produces Kombucha fermented tea which is a common way to consume probiotics. I am the Founder of Popp’s Booch

For what projects/services did your company hire Story Bridge Creative, and what were your goals?

My company was creating content for our social platform using iPhone photography. The main obstacle we were having was that the content we were presenting to customers did not convey the greater arc or vision that we have for our company. Our goal was to find a team that could help us take our vision of Small Business, High-Quality Kombucha, Gathering Community, and Active Lifestyle to help curate a video production plan. This would produce the content we needed for our website and social platforms.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor via direct recommendation and after seeing some of their content they had shot for a local restaurant. Another deciding factor was that they were focused on storytelling as a company rather than simply pushing out content. This aligned with parts of our company vision to get to know those who we work with.

This particular project was a video of a group of friends heading out for a trip to Joshua Tree, fueled by our Kombucha. The process included a detailed planning phase. The team at Story Bridge seemed very experienced in knowing what would be required to complete this shoot. They were great at giving me as much control over the vision as possible while also taking on details that were outside of my expertise like shot angles, and shot schedules, and even helping with budget planning to give different scales of the cost we could do for the shoot.

After planning we did a single shot day that included multiple locations in the park, talent coordination and directing as well as a climbing session as the central activity. Final editing and voiceover process was highly collaborative. The team leveraged helpful tools and platforms for sharing edits/ feedback that made the process move forward faster than anticipated due to not needing to meet in person.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with both of the partners for each stage, planning, shooting, and editing. The feedback process was insightful and showed their commitment to have a final product that we were happy with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The content that we have created with this team has generated our highest social and web traffic once leveraged. In addition to this we have had an increase in repeat business as they have become more tied to what our company vision is.

The project management style was collaborative although I know they support other companies that do not require collaboration and trust the content they will create. Because of this, I would also describe their style as flexible. Communication tools were email, phone calls, and frame.io for the editing collaboration. Every step was timely and communicated any curveballs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were passionate to understand our story and why we are creating kombucha. This focus on the “story” of our company showcased how they would be a great asset for future projects because they would be able to draw a greater arc between our content.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think this team may have a case to make for growing the team.

I am the Director of Sales and Marketing for a tech construction company, building data centers, modular equipment, and shielded concrete.

We hired Story Bridge to tell the story of what we do in a quick video. With 5 companies operating with shared ownership, telling the story quickly in video form (with voice over) can be difficult.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had networked previously with Paul C., and was waiting for the right opportunity to onboard him onto a project. This one fit perfectly, as they were experts at storytelling and doing so in a concise way.

I talked through my vision with Paul first. Then he gave some ideas and feedback in real-time, which we refined. After that, I sent him examples of what was in my head, along with some photos of our businesses. From there, he articulated the vision back perfectly, we went to work in doing the video side first, then a voice over, and their team matched everything up perfectly.

I primarily worked with Paul and the feedback was great.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our entire sales team now uses that video to articulate our position to customers. It is in each of our slide decks, what we use at conferences, and being used on social. We have received great feedback so far, proving it was a success.

Collaborative - Paul and team were very collaborative and timely through the whole process. Especially with the aggressive timeline we gave them, that they hit, even with us as the customer making a number of changes they still found a way to deliver on time.

They listened and took our vision to reality in a way far better than we even expected.

Their portfolio was on brand and high quality.

We worked together to create a storyboard and set up the scenarios in detail at the location. We received a long version and shorter clips for use in our clients ad account.

We worked with Paul and Jacob- they were very flexible and delivered exactly what we needed from the job.

We are currently testing the videos in our clients ad account and are seeing good results so far.
