I’m a solutions architect at Edible Arrangements, a retail company that creates and sells fresh fruit arrangements, chocolate-dipped fruit, and fruit-based snacks for gifts, celebrations, and on-the-go treats.

What challenge were you trying to address with SprintSynergy?

We needed help automating the QA process for new software systems being deployed to meet business objectives.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SprintSynergy has implemented a comprehensive QA automation framework for a new software platform. The team has automated key QA processes within the Azure deployment pipeline, leveraging Playwright, Cypress, and other automated testing tools.The solution has been integrated directly into the CI/CD pipeline using gated deployment stages, allowing automated tests to validate functionality and quality before progression to subsequent environments. The testing suite supports a newly launched e-commerce platform designed specifically for corporate gifting.SprintSynergy has automated testing across the core end-to-end workflows of our B2B e-commerce platform. This includes the customer ordering experience, multi-recipient order creation and CSV uploads, product and order validation, checkout and payment flows, delivery and shipping options, store assignment, order confirmation, and downstream order processing.The team also covers important post-purchase and administrative workflows, including parent and child order handling, order status and tracking, cancellations, refunds, and integrations between the e-commerce platform and our supporting backend systems.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measurable outcome has been the successful launch and stabilization of the B2B gifting platform. After go-live, the platform has processed more than 20 parent orders representing roughly 1,000 individual recipient orders, with the large majority of transactions flowing through the system successfully. SprintSynergy’s QA work has contributed directly to that stability by giving the team better coverage across checkout, multi-recipient ordering, payments, store assignment, order processing, tracking, cancellations, and refunds.The automated QA work has also given us a much more repeatable release process. By integrating automated testing into the Azure deployment pipeline with gated stages, we’ve been able to validate critical workflows before promoting changes, reduce the amount of manual regression testing required, and catch issues earlier in the deployment cycle.From my perspective, the biggest measure of success has been that we’ve been able to move from a new and complex platform into production with a relatively small number of issues, identify problems quickly, and continue releasing fixes with confidence.There have been several instances where automated regression testing has identified issues in critical workflows before release, particularly around multi-recipient order processing, checkout, and downstream order handling. Catching these failures in the deployment pipeline has allowed the team to correct them before they could impact customers in production.
