I’m a life coach who works with women to improve their quality of life, helping them find balance and health.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sophie Candau Communication?

About a year ago, I met Sophie (Principal) about writing a book. It was a very special project to me, and I wasn’t sure what my next steps should be. She helped me draft a communications strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sophie was tasked with developing a complete communications strategy for my book project. She did everything related to research and discovery because I didn’t have the time nor the knowledge for it. The whole strategy centered on understanding my positioning.  

Sophie looked into the current state of my market, identified the key people who were active in my segment, and defined a step-by-step process for me. We also did a lot of online surveys and talked about press contacts as well, though the latter was a bit early for me. She shared some of my articles on LinkedIn, too.

Sophie was one of the first contacts I found while searching online. I knew that she’d just started her business but still wanted to meet. After a great exchange on the phone, I met her in Paris to talk about my project and figure out how we could work together. That meeting was a key point for me because I felt an emotional connection with her — I just knew she was someone I could trust.

It was a bit more than €2,000 (approximately $2,400 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with Sophie from January–March 2020. We’re still in regular contact, though, and I’m sure we’ll work together again.

Sophie delivered a well-structured, professional strategy to me. She even traveled to my location and back again on the same day, which I really appreciated.

It was great. We communicated regularly via phone calls and emails, and she proposed many ideas that fit my long-term vision.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sophie’s prices aren’t cheap, but I think it was a great choice to invest in her service. In fact, I wouldn’t have wanted to invest less for less efficiency — I wanted a well-executed process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s hard to say. She could’ve created an online file or a shared space where we could’ve exchanged information and documents.

Trust her approach as it’s really down-to-earth.

After the implementation of an action calendar, the notoriety of my company was increased by 65%, the visits to my site increased considerably, lowering the bounce rate and generating new successful quotes.

For each communication, submission of a media listing and a press release in line. Validation by the client. Start discussions with journalists to negotiate maximum of visibility on each communication action in different formats : interviews, reports, freelance, etc

Very effective workflow supporteed by weekly email reports and calls with the client every two weeks.

Understanding the client problems, capability to get press articles, reactivity, Sophie Candau Communictaion is abale to run several projects on different topics at the same time.

Sophie Candau Communication seemed to be the smartest and had the clearest proposal.

After the quote being validated, we had many calls and meetings to develop or strategy for the shooting. Sophie were there on every steps and helped a lot in the process of validation, even during the post-production.

For the postproduction I submitted differents private online versions of the project online that allowed us to comment and modify very quickly.
