Comcater's corporate brand has never been clearly defined. A full program was delivered by Sondo and Brandwell - from internal / external research through to delivery of style guide.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their team did a tremendous job of delivering above and beyond what we expected. The communication from the team was outstanding - the Sondo team did a great job breaking down the milestones and incorporating business and customer input. This resulted in a very robust brand strategy, great team engagement and a beautiful brand position.

The project management on this initiative was excellent. Clearly defined milestones were communicated from the beginning which helped keep the project on track.

I am the co-founder of JAM the label. JAM is an inclusive clothing brand, designed with people with disability in mind. We create funky products with smart designs that make getting dressed easier or more comfortable for people with disability.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sondo, and what were your goals?

Three years into launching our business, we needed a brand re-fresh to align with the direction we were wanting to head. As a small business we don't have the expertise or knowledge to do this for ourselves and found that we were often too close to the project to be able to come up with fresh and exciting ideas. We wanted someone that was able to understand our values and "brand vibe" and be able to turn that into some visual.

We wanted branding guidelines that we would be able to take away and implement ourselves due to being a small business with a limited budget.

We had met with Lucas and Gemma early on in our business journey and felt very comfortable chatting with them. After having initial discussions with a different company who just didn't really get us, we approached Lucas and Gemma and they got us straight away.

We worked with Sondo to create a "brand bible" which included putting JAM's personality and values into words. They then were able to provide multiple options for our new branding, took our feedback on and delivered an amazing final product.

We worked with three members of Sondo. Lucas, Gemma and their designer.

We have been able to successfully implement the branding guidelines to use within our marketing and branding.

Sondo was great with their project management. We found their communication timely and they were able to deliver in very reasonable timelines.

Even from our initial discussions, Sondo just got the essense of JAM. They understood what we were trying to do and what we were looking for even though we weren't able to visually explain it very clearly.

There isn't anything they needed to improve on.

I'm the founder of our boutique copywriting agency, Heydays Creative. I manage our team as well as oversee business operations for our agency.

We hired Sondo as we were looking to uplevel our service offering, to provide strategy along with copywriting services. We knew we needed a sophisticated brand strategy in order to attract higher-paying clients and partner with top-notch creative agencies.

I have a great working relationship with Gemma , Sondo's co-founder. They're a strategic partner of Heydays, so choosing them as our branding agency was an easy decision.

To start, they provided a thorough analysis of our current brand, competitors and the copywriting landscape. From there, we worked on the problems we were encountering, and how we'd need to reposition the brand in order to solve these dilemmas. Sondo hosted a collaborative workshop with our team to work through our brand, and helped us to arrive at our new positioning and messaging.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have so much more clarity about our target audience and how we are currently perceived in the marketplace — and how this needs to shift. We also have the confidence to charge more for our services and start initiating conversations about brand strategy, along with copywriting.

Gemma and Lucas offered plenty of communication throughout the process. We knew exactly what deliverables we'd receive and when we'd receive them. We wrapped up the entire process in less than two months, which was an excellent result.

Gemma and Lucas went above and beyond in every area — not just delivering an incredibly solid and workable brand strategy, but also marketing insights and direction to help me get started with our rebrand.

They undertook a thorough market review and brand audit process to understand our current challenges and brand problems. They then took us through a collaborative brand building process to craft our purpose, brand strategy approach and new positioning for the business. They then helped us to create our brand identity and collateral. We were delivered a comprehensive brand guidelines bible outlining all aspects of our branding.
