What challenges were you trying to address with Sol Consultores?

We work with malls and other similar companies. We were looking to develop an image that would match our client’s so we hired Sol to help us develop our image via branding and design services.

They designed our uniforms, logos, and brand color scheme.

We worked with 4 people, including their founder.

How did you come to work with Sol Consultores?

I found them online and I really liked their portfolio. Specifically, I liked that they had experience working with big corporations and medium-sized companies. Their work also looked very appealing and interesting.

How much have you invested in them?

Our first project cost around $5,000, and we’ve had many extra requirements of about $300 each.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started with this project around March 2017; we finished with that main project but have continued our collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve heard great comments about our image and our uniforms from the users of our service at the malls and even when walking in the street.

How did Sol Consultores perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all of our requirements in a timely manner. Sometimes we requested adjustments and their response was always completely agile. The team even delivered before our time expectations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They exceeded our expectations and worked very quickly while maintaining high quality. This was the first time I engaged with a project like this and was very satisfied.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I honestly couldn’t say anything; everything was great and they made sure to follow up with the project until the end. The team made sure we had the results we wanted.

I’m a former brand manager of a food production company based in Mexico.

What challenges were you trying to address Sol Consultores?

We hired Sol Consultores to redesign and build the brand for one of our product lines. This product’s identity hadn’t been updated in seven years and had branding issues. We were looking to position the line again and create an umbrella brand.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sol Consultores handled the entire creative process and produced several branding identities to choose from. In the end, we selected the one that most suited our needs.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with three people. However, there was a bigger team behind the scenes that handled the creative process.

How did you come to work with Sol Consultores?

When I started working with my company, they already had a partnership with Sol Consultores. Also, I worked with them in my previous position at another company. I never thought about looking for another company because they have great credentials.

How much have you invested in them?

We invested around $120,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $5,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We did this project in 2010, and it lasted around six months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Sol Consultores modernized our brand, unified our target audience, and potentized our sales, making our company a lot stronger. It was a very significant project for our company.

How did Sol Consultores perform from a project management standpoint?

We had very close and personalized contact. Whenever I had an issue, I felt comfortable communicating it to their management. I really liked that, and they are a very good company.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have great knowledge of branding, and I learned a lot from them. Sol Consultores is very patient, dedicated, and produces great quality work. In my 16 years of experience, I’ve never felt so comfortable working with an agency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re not cheap, but they’re worth it.

I work for Terrafertil, a healthy food production company based in Mexico. I work in the marketing area and am in charge of communications and innovation for Mexico and Latin America in general.

They created some of our most successful brands. They have guided us for all brand-related matters.

We’ve worked with around 10 people in total, although that has changed depending on the project.

How did you come to work with Sol Consultores?

Our founder knew their CEO and contacted them when he was about to launch our company. We’ve continued to work with them for all these years because of their great results.

How much have you invested in them?

It has changed through the years, but this year we spent about one million Mexican pesos (about $50,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2009 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The brand they developed was acquired by Nestle, one of the biggest companies in our market. We know that the brand’s image is one of its strongest features and it helped our brand win a contest. The results of their work have been great and they’ve had a significant impact on our success.

How did Sol Consultores perform from a project management standpoint?

One of the things I value most about them is the involvement of the company’s CEO and its openness. Their communications have always been transparent and proactive, which is something I find very valuable. They are not just designers but consultants—they always take a proactive position and are always suggesting new ideas.

They’ve managed very realistic deadlines and don’t commit to any deadline they know they won’t meet. However, they’re aware of our needs and try to adapt, so they’ve done well with expectations management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work quickly and can manage projects in different categories simultaneously. We are very happy with them. They are a great partner.

Their teams are quite small for the amount of work they have.
