For what projects/services did your company hire Soft Pyramid, and what were your goals?

We have used Soft Pyramind on multiple software development projects, including: developing a public website with a focus on SEO, building an internet mangement app, building out sophisticated APIs, and an ETL process that mapped millions of fields. Our goal was to build out each project in a robust manner, in a timely fashion, using best practices that would allow future teams would be able to manage the project going forward.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed a number of software development providers and found Soft Pyramid to be experienced and professional and be in sync with our goals.

We have worked with Soft Pyramid on a number of projects in the enterprise software space across multiple customers. The technologies used include: PHP, Vue, NextJS, Go, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Search.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have worked with 15 members of the Soft Pyramid team, including business analysts, senior software engineers, and junior software engineers. Each of them have been very capable and highly skilled contributors.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Each project that we have worked with Soft Pyramid on has been successful. The projects measurables have each been different, but the goals varied from improving SEO rankings (major improvement), building an intranet mangement app (used by thousands and operates robustly), to a build out sophisticated APIs (handles high load successfully with scale).

Internal and external communication has always been very organized. We typically communicate via chat and voice meetings. They use the services as requested to best accomidate project management and planning, including project management tools.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Soft Pyramid is very flexible to meet our needs and goals and help find solutions that we need.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are very fortunate to have found a vendor like Soft Pyramid to help grow our business and be a partner that has helped us realize success.

I'm an executive at a fundraising platform. I'm in charge of our product development. I oversee our development team.

We hired Soft Pyramid to build a custom ecommerce platform for local fundraisers. Our goal was to launch November 2022 with a market-ready product that allowed schools to hold online fundraisers using our catalog of dropship products.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor based on a referral from a friend who has worked with them. We compared them against another development team. The deciding factors were that they worked in laravel, their reputation was high, and their costs were low.

They designed a scalable software build that covered the needs of our many stakeholders. This includes 5 different user types.

I worked with up to 7 people, including 5 developers and the CEO and CTO.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched the product roughly on time, which is very impressive. Their team has a good understanding of the intuition behind the software we wanted to build, and that came through in their efforts.

Had we been working with developers only, the communication might not have been as good—but we worked also with the CEO and CTO who were rigorous in their consideration of our build, and led their developers to take the right steps. I'm very impressed.

They have been willing to accommodate our requests quickly, accurately, and their management is right there in the trenches with their developers. That makes communication works well.
