BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a systems manager and I head the development team, where we create the company's credit solutions, whose main product is the private label card.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sofist?

With the growth of the company and the team, we are faced with the need to improve the quality of our deliveries, in order to avoid failures and financial losses, in addition to the desire to always guarantee the best experience for our customers.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After receiving several proposals from companies specialized in software quality testing, Sofist demonstrated that it has more synergy with our business, in addition to the fact that they already work with other companies consolidated in the market.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Quality analysts started in a single working cell, receiving testing demands from the teams and executing according to priorities. Afterwards, they were placed within the agile squads, where they can, together with the team, carry out the tests and transmit the quality culture.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There are currently 12 human test analysts and 1 automated test analyst

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have a whatsapp bot for capturing and serving customers and it was very difficult to perform all the flow tests when any changes were made. Now with automated tests it is much simpler and easier to find broken code.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sofist people are members of our agile teams and work side by side with employees, participating in all squad ceremonies.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Sofist has a team of leaders that is constantly concerned with the quality of the analysts' work and that generates indicators for monitoring our managers. Sofist's tech talks help our team acquire new knowledge and think about quality culture.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I believe that the only point of improvement would be in the recruitment and selection of new employees. There have been situations where a new analyst did not perform as expected and did not have the right experience for the role. More specific tests, including behavior tests, could help with this point.
