We had used Slidepeak for a few smaller projects and felt they had the right level of design aesthetics and quick turn-around time we needed for our work.

We provided a rough layout of the data and information we wanted on each slide, and collaborated with Slidepeak on the final look of the deck template and individual slides.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Not only was the deck completed on time, it was also placed in a format that allowed us to make adjustments and edits to the content, which was critical. We received multiple compliments on the look and feel of the deck after our presentation, and used the deck as the basis for three additional reports and social media outreach efforts.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great, we submitted our requirements and changes each night, and had our updated decks within 24 hours for most of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We've used a few services like this to help with content and presentation creation. The quality of the design work done by Slidepeak was the best. The quick turn-around and willingness to work within our requested limitations for templates were very valuable to us. The ability to have quality designed work that is editable has increased our overall content output and reduced the costs we would normally have invested in redesign work for small changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Other than our hope that over time they create a corporate environment that allows a team of people to interact with their designers and multiple logins for an account - we had no issues at all.

My position is a CEO of an IT company App solutions, which operates in web development, data engineering, UI/UX design, and mobile strategy solutions for various businesses. We were working with this agency while developing software for a Dev outsource company. The software had to be flexible and easily adjustable to a company's needs working with international clients. We have to create flexible, effective software that would allow for a better organization of the client's business. The client wanted the app to be one of the company's competitive advantages.

The company's main task was to make the presentation persuasive and understandable, clearly conveying the customer's main information. The main points to be covered in the presentation were: How the app would be developed, Projected benefits that the app model we chose would bring for the client, and Workflow plan with a detailed explanation of each stage of the development process. While we intended for this presentation to answer the client's questions at the beginning of the development process, we also wanted it to be a handy guide to the app usage and its main features.

We had been in touch with our account manager, who spoke on behalf of the designer team and kept us up-to-date as the presentation progressed. Occasionally, we were contacting the designers, which helped us to speed up the process a lot.

We were really satisfied with the project presentation since it hit all the main points, clearly explaining the development process through visuals. At SlidePeak's advice, the presentation had a three-part structure, offering some time for questions after each part's presentation. Overall, the required information was presented clearly and efficiently.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

SlidePeak has a detailed project plan, allowing for effective cooperation. After the initial meeting, we discussed the project's scope and marked the milestones we will have to pass as the project progresses. We have regularly received updates regarding the work process. Everything was done according to the deadlines we have set, and the progress was smooth, with no major flaws or unexpected complexities.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As with previous projects, I am impressed with empathy and the level of visuals that the company conducts. These features allow for smooth work progress and a product that fulfills all our requirements. SlidePeak really uses its experience to suggest improvements to our initial plans, making the results even better. The company demonstrates a reliable and caring attitude resulting in a truly pleasant experience.

Having completed several projects with SlidePeak, I can say that I had a chance to test the company's capabilities in different spheres. Each time we cooperated, no major problems arose. Our project team had to prepare a briefing for one of our abroad clients, informing him of the possible solutions on outsourcing that might be of interest to him. A significant part of the briefing was a presentation consisting of 50 slides, heavy on infographics and data. Slidepeak’s team task was to give the presentation a professional look, in line with our design code, and make the data visualization understandable and visually appealing.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to provide our client with several options of customer support outsourcing to choose from. Project outcomes for each choice were to be displayed, and the whole project should have been the starting point of the further negotiations.

The main requirements from us were — content editing and clear visualization. The presentation should be designed following the style of the site with the ability to edit. So, first of all, we had an initial discussion. The team talked about the deadlines, and it felt like they really got into our field. A few days later, we received a draft from the introductory slides and data visualization example. We didn't even have to make any stylistic changes. A few days before the deadline, our order was ready. During the presentation preparation, some of our data changed, so we had several changes. We really liked that the guys made edits, although we had to redraw some rather complicated diagrams. Everything went well, and we had a worthy project for the final dispatch.

I mostly worked with our personal manager, Frank. However, the designer team was always available, and on several occasions I communicated directly with them.

My main concern was the quality of data visualization. We already had an initial design for our data, and I imagined that the designers would make it look a little more appealing visually. However, SlidePeak proposed a complete data visualization redesign that was much more understandable for the outside viewer. We decided to go with this design, and it turned out to be a perfect choice.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

From the first contact between SlidePeak and us, we followed a schedule, with all the project milestones being reached in time or before the deadline. We have passed the planning stage quite quickly. Everything seemed to go smoothly, but we had to reschedule the deadline in the middle of the project, leaving the designers with a couple of fewer days to finish the project. What pleased me most is that it never turned into a problem. I had a meeting with Frank where we reschedule the remaining milestone, and the presentation was finished just as planned, without any shortcomings in quality.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was highly impressed by the design quality. In fact, it highly exceeded my expectations. As a result of the designers' work, I got a beautiful presentation and a presentation that was much more understandable for the client than the initial version. What is more, the time flexibility was also on point, since there were never any delays, even when we had to reschedule the deadline.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Actually, nothing stands out in particular. We've only completed one project so far, and everything was fine. We haven't worked on the larger projects, though, and I can't speak on their performance doing such tasks. However, I definitely will cooperate with them in the future and test it out. You can write more on the fact that they are always in touch and open to suggestions and quickly adapt to changes. They cover the needs of the client and do it with good taste

Our organization is one of the industry leaders in healthcare. Most of our work is related to eyes and vision, as well as the brain. I’m a practicing doctor in the company, as well as a director.

What challenge were you trying to address with SlidePeak?

Everything has moved to a virtual form, and a lot of visually appealing content has to be created. I already had the majority of the presentation information in my head, but I don’t design presentations. I was looking for a one-stop-shop to help me produce a presentation, rather than hiring independent contractors with different skill sets, which makes it difficult to create a uniform product in a concise and quick manner.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had multiple meetings with SlidePeak, and every time I had an idea or wanted to restructure something, they were able to incorporate those changes into the presentation. They took what was in my head and combined it with their own independent research, and then we collaborated to make sure the information was accurate to our industry.

What is the team composition?

I primarily worked with Frank (Senior Sales Manager). He was outstanding. There were also copywriters, researchers, and graphic design resources working on the presentation. I was going to independently contract all these skillsets, but SlidePeak owned them all internally.

How did you come to work with SlidePeak?

I looked at a ton of different companies, spending weeks narrowing it down to just a few options. The hardest part of building a presentation is creating the content, and the easiest part is trimming the fat. A lot of companies were willing to trim the fat on the presentation or draft it based on my content, but SlidePeak said they could help me with the content and the drafting.

I got comfortable with them very quickly. They were very responsive, attentive, and deliberate, as well as direct and purposeful. I’m not an easy client, but they were always quick to respond to me and all my questions, even when we only had an idea.

I spent around $1,600 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them from November until December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everybody loved the presentation. There aren’t any quantitative measurements, but I’ve worked with some of our industry partners prior to this, and, comparatively, many more people were impressed with the visuals of this project than were impressed with the previous projects. Normally, the ideas in these presentations are only spoken, but SlidePeak built the ideas into the design.

I don’t normally do reviews, but I wanted to do this one because I’m very appreciative of their services and ability to deliver on something for someone they’d never met before. SlidePeak cared just as much about the project as I did.

How did SlidePeak perform from a project management standpoint?

They reached out a little bit throughout the project to let me know where they were at. SlidePeak even sent a few introductory slides at the beginning to ensure I was on board with their work. That first delivery was exactly what I was looking for. I was kind of shocked, but when I saw the final presentation and added my own personal touches, I knew I had to review them. SlidePeak helped my company and advocated for my profession with their work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They encapsulated in a visual form the vision I verbally presented to them. Both sides cared about and worked hard on the project. SlidePeak offers the complete package, and they’re quality people. We’ve never met in person but I have a feeling that I’d enjoy having dinner and a beer with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Shockingly, no, there isn’t. I’ve already got them in mind for the next presentation I have, even though I don’t have one lined up yet. I’m sure there are other people offering similarly satisfactory services, but I don’t feel the need to look at anyone else. I’m beyond satisfied.
