I'm the CTO of an e-commerce startup.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with Simbiosis?

We needed to escalate our team of engineers very agilely without losing quality. We wanted to hire about 100 developers, so we contacted Simbiosis to help us find the right candidates for those positions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Simbiosis has been recruiting staff for us. We provided them with a list of requirements, including the skills needed for each position; we were looking mostly for back- and frontend developers versed in React, Node Js, and scrum masters.

They were referred to us by someone on our tech team who had previously worked with them.

We've spent around $300,000 with them so far.

We started working with them in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We use Scrum methods to measure the developers' success based on the deliveries made at the end of every sprint. All of the developers hired with Simbiosis are performing above 80%.

How did Simbiosis perform from a project management standpoint?

Of all the service providers we have worked with, they are among the most dynamic in terms of communications. They use WhatsApp, which makes them very agile and open. We also use Jira and Canva boards as project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their open and agile communication is outstanding; they are willing to use every tool and channel without lying too much on formalities, making them very straightforward.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their invoicing could improve; currently, they send us the invoice either on day 2nd, 6th, etc. So they could provide a better month-to-month projection and find a steady date.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd recommend people to work with them; they have great profiles on software development.
