I engaged Signity Solutions to design, develop, and deliver the first full version of BasuTots, a calm-learning mobile application for toddlers ages 2–6. The goal was to create a complete, real-world usable product that could be deployed to parents, schools, and daycares.

Signity handled the end-to-end execution of the app, including UI/UX, mobile app development, backend engineering, and QA. They worked collaboratively with us to translate our education concept into an engaging digital experience focused on calm play, cognitive development, and age-appropriate progression.

They implemented puzzle modules with increasing levels of complexity, an onboarding flow for parents and caregivers, and a calming visual interface. They also incorporated our mascot, BasuBot, as a gentle guide to help children feel comfortable and encouraged while solving activities.

Throughout the project, the team supported reviews, refinements, issue resolution, and release readiness to ensure the build could be confidently launched to real users.

Signity was tasked with creating deeper integrations between multiple Zoho systems such as Zoho Books, CRM and FSM. 

They also assisted in migration from WhatsApp business to WhatsApp API, including finding a suitable provider that was compatible with our integration needs.

The team designed and implemented a customer service chat bot for customer info collection and integrated it into out WhatsApp system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The custom integrations from Signity allowed us to measurably reduce the length of our booking and customer service process, leading to fewer mistakes and increased bookings. This not only created a settup for us to handle larger volumes of business, but also allows us to have more robust data to use in other applications such as our marketing.

Created Internal tooling to help sales and engineering staff execute project more effectively. Project was a full stack build that was from scratch. The project had 9 modules and 3-4 integrations with external systems, as well as syncing and tons of visualizations and screens, as well as a very large amount of data and linking in between records and projects in the system.

SIgnity teams are always self-managers, you give them work to do and they will do it. Be ready to answer the questions to keep them busy in between the days but rest assured that they will keep you busy designing and delivering requirements as they will be building rapidly, and makign sure the the application meets your needs. 
I hightly reccomend getting a reccomendation from them on what staff you will need as they will be frugal about it for you, but it will absolutely accelerate the project. They will adapt to your project management style, so if you are not a great manager I highly reccomend letting them manage it, they will absolutely do right by you. Signity cares about putting out a product that makes the customer happy.

For working with a remote company, they really care about delivering good outcomes and products. Its hard to find a company where the culture there matches ours. They are a partner more than a provider. They recognize that doing good business is the way, and that is hard to find when using companies like Signity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Signity Solutions could have done differently?

The only thing that may be hard form some is wokring with accents, SIgnity in particular does a great job of hiring folks with good english, I absoltuely reccomend taking the time to work through the hurdle there, as it will be worth it. The teams know this can be a hurdle and do their best tro make sure that commumincation isn't difficult. 
They check in regularly to make sure that you are getting what you need and that you are satisfied with the work. If there are adjustments needed, ask them, I guarantee if its reasonable you can consider it done. They are like working with the best of the boutique firms in the US.

Signity was hired to expand development and QA resources in the Letus Engineering team. Letus embarked on offering one of a kind solution, txt2pay, to the rental industry specifically in the payment space and needed expert developers to work within Letus's internal team.

Considering the time-sensitive nature of the project, Signity was able to allocate top talent in their team within a week to our project. Signity was responsible for delivering a complete solution that allow Letus to send transactional text messages to its customers and collect their due payments with a single click. Signity was also responsible for providing QA resources to assist with test automation for this project.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signity Solutions?

We're in the process of moving those from on-premise to the cloud, so we were looking for someone that could work with me, since I'm the only developer, so I needed someone to help me build these new cloud versions on Microsoft Azure.

We hired a mid-level developer to give us a hand for an ERP system, working on a couple of projects. We have two main projects within our business, one for the pest control industry and another for the fishing industry.

It entails the use of Microsoft Azure, C#, and a .NET framework, and Angular, with a SQL server. It uses Xamarin, for things like mobile app development for iOS and Android. They also do things like building out automation for communication with clients.

We looked into 2-3 different offshore companies, but Signity's pricing was great, and their recruitment and sales manager were very focused on our specific problems during the interview process.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project is due to be released in early 2020, but it's been tested by one of our partners. We'll have to wait another 6-12 months before we can actually tell how successful it'll be, but I already know it’ll go well.

How did Signity Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been very satisfactory. We've met deadlines, we've managed to overcome challenges, and we've been able to pull in more resources as needed. For example, we hired a temporary developer for two months for a project we needed to get done. We've used Azure DevOps Server for project management, but we also had meetings over Skype, phone calls, one-on-one meetings, and documentation being forwarded through.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For me, it's all about people's personalities. You can always teach people skills, but you can't teach an attitude. Signity has both the skills and the attitude for the job. Working with them has been great and they're really easy to collaborate with. Additionally, the time difference from India to Australia is actually a benefit. Once I'm finished with all of my regular commitments, I can spend time with Signity to work on our project.

It's not about what skills have been brought forward since you can always get those in different places, but it's about if you have an issue to deal with, it's about finding a solution to that issue. They've delivered every single time. I've recommended them to other colleagues, even for things like SEO because their work really stands out.

Honestly, not so far. We've been working with them for quite a while now, and so far, they've been great.

Signity Solutions built the web application, and we’re in the process of developing a native iOS app. The game uses several features incorporated by Signity Solutions. Users pay for a token to enter the game and have the potential to win a cash prize if they get the correct answers to a puzzle. The puzzle accepts multiple solutions of different skill levels; the reward varies depending on the skill of the user’s response.

Signity developed back-end infrastructures for Android applications. We've gone with a different vendor for iOS because we want to keep our technology distributed among different vendors. They do have a good iOS team though.

How did you come to work with Signity?

We evaluated several vendors, either through personal contacts or online searches. We found a few vendors, and interviewed them for their technical abilities, capacity to grow, the level of maturity of the company, and general vibe and attitude. We gave a few small starter projects to a few vendors. We selected Signity because they were the most responsive and had the best technical depth among all other vendors.

We spend between $50-100,000 per year with them.

We started working with them in 2009. We still have ongoing projects with Signity.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

We leveraged them to build our core projects. They are in charge of the entire back-end development, the content management system of the website, and Android development. Everything except for iOS apps.

They created a well-reviewed product that has been used for many conferences worldwide over the last six years. We are in a very competitive business. If we didn't deliver working apps, we would not survive.

What distinguishes Signity from other providers?

They are very flexible and willing to work with us both on a financial and technical front. I know their founder personally. We've had several conversations about their plans to expand, not just to the technical area, but towards digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization, etc.

They provide many different skills that make them a good alternative to multiple vendors. They're a one-stop-shop for development.

I haven't used their marketing capabilities. They're new in that area, so I'm sure that they have room for improvement there. In regards to development, I can't think of anything. They have a great team.

A solution like Amazon allows turning resources up or down based on need. Signity became responsible for the back-end infrastructure. They also take care of the ongoing maintenance. We're constantly adding new customers and improvements.

I found them on a freelancer portal, although their team has grown since then, and I've worked with them in various capacities for the last eight years.

I started this project in September 2014. It is ongoing.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

They work hard and offer good results. They don't take your business for granted and try to earn it constantly. Many times, outsourcing can seem like a black hole, but I've become very friendly with them through the years. They're always available. I'm not sure if they sleep.

What distinguishes Signity Software Solutions from other providers?

The communication is the biggest challenge when the developers don't work in the same office as you. Signity are always available. Also, the stats are very good. We're on pace for 2016 and are able to send out a billion emails, if necessary. I push them in different directions if the requirements change. They've done a good job of remaining flexible and have coped with me pulling them in multiple directions.

I don't have any complaints.
