They were responsive to our operational needs, including:

What impressed us most about Shipbots was their ability to scale quickly without compromising on speed or accuracy. During periods of rapid growth—especially our record-breaking month on TikTok Shop—they maintained consistent fulfillment standards, allowing us to meet platform SLAs and customer expectations without adding internal operational strain.

Their tech stack was also a standout: the dashboard made it easy to track inventory, monitor orders across channels, and identify fulfillment issues in real time. For a small team like ours, this level of visibility and control was invaluable.

Additionally, their flexibility in working with custom packaging and multi-channel routing (Amazon, Etsy, TikTok) made them feel more like an extension of our team than a one-size-fits-all 3PL.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ShipBots could have done differently?

Our experience with Shipbots was overwhelmingly positive, and they consistently delivered on expectations. If anything, the main opportunities we saw were around tightening a few operational workflows as we scaled:

During high-volume periods, more proactive communication around inventory levels or in-transit restocks would have helped us plan ahead even more confidently.
There were rare instances where tracking syncs with TikTok Shop required manual follow-up, but their team was quick to resolve when flagged.
Overall, these were minor in the context of a year-long partnership and didn’t materially impact performance—especially given how responsive and solution-oriented their team was throughout.

For what projects/services did your company hire ShipBots, and what were your goals?

We hired ShipBots to store our inventory and fulfill all of our e-commerce orders. They were our 3PL company. Our goals were to have a seamless on-boarding and great customer service, i.e. customers get packages on time and in great condition.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Spoke with many 3PL companies. I selected this vendor because they were cost-effective, were adaptable to our specific needs (including being willing to store and ship products that a lot of other companies won't, like matches and art work/large prints), and were extremely responsive customer service-wise.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Shipbots used a software that seamlessly linked into our shopify site and kept track of all inventory and orders that way. The on-boarding to this software was extremely easy and quick. It did not take a lot of effort and we had a solo-dedicated representative that was willing to help if there were any problems. All of our orders were shipped with great care. They packaged every order (including pick and pack with multiple items, including many breakable and fragile items), chose the best shipping option based on speed and cost, and then shipped the order.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We did our original consult with a sales representative. Once we signed, we had one main dedicated account representative. And when we closed out our project we had direct contact with the owner.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All of our orders were shipped on time and customers reported no damage whatsoever. The system ran very seamlessly. And there were no hidden charges. Very understandable pricing model.

Our rep was very, very responsive. Giving us his cell phone number and was reachable any day of the week, including weekends and after hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They handled any type of inventory we wanted to sell. I could not find ANY other 3PL company that worked with small volume start-ups and also was willing to store and ship matches and large wall art.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had a couple on-boarding problems with getting our inventory count right, but they quickly responded to the problem and worked with us to get the numbers right and ensure there were no missed sales or sales of products we didn't have.
