I’m an executive at an agriculture company.

What challenge were you trying to address with SEW-EURODRIVE?

Due to time constraints and industry knowledge, we needed help to streamline our harvesting processes. We wanted to find a company that could deal with putting together motors and gears to build a vehicle for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SEW-EURODRIVE has been outsourcing manufacturing services for us. We invited them to look at what we currently had, and they came up with an automated guided vehicle that plants and harvests products — they work collaboratively with our other contractors to put everything together.

Regarding technologies, they’ve used C++, PLC, and microcontroller technology.

We’ve worked with three members of their team, including a project manager, an electronics engineer, and a software engineer.
