Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We are a Danish Software as a Service (SaaS) company that offers a unique web app reporting platform for Web- Digital- and Marketing Agencies all over the world. Our current UI/UX was a mix of some outdated/old school designs/features and some just made very “rough” with out having made design mockups before. So, it was a mix of a lot of “old school” looks and the design perception is not consistent throughout the platform, at all. 

So, we started a process with Seven Metrics where we needed to change/redesign the UI/UX so it meets 2021/2022 standards both compared to our competitors, and of course the missing consistency and lack of “a common thread” throughout the design. It needs to feel coherent, modern, and fresh. This was done to perfection by Seven Metrics. It was a very important that the starting point is the existing UI/UX so we make sure we easily can convert the new design to actual back-end code (Angular). 

But we would highly appreciate recommendations and designs for some new UX improvements that make sense. The UI was made in a both a “light” and “dark” theme suggestion because it will be optional in the future to choose between the 2. and could define their own main colours.

We got Figma files updated on a daily basis where we could measure progress 100%

They responded with extreme agility throughout the partnership, and has divided the project into minor task that was done on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are just the best of the best. Never worked with such skilled individuals before within the work of UI/UX designs. They are awesome!

Are there any areas for improvement or something Seven Metrics could have done differently?

There was nothing they needed to improve on.

I am the CEO of a venture backed software startup.

For what projects/services did your company hire Seven Metrics?

We hired Seven Metrics to help us quickly get from customer interviews to MVP and go-to-market ready UX/UI.

How did you select this vendor?

We were introduced to Seven Metrics on a referral and selected them based on relevant previous work, as well as cost and fast turnaround times.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Their team was able to take our product requirement documents and a basic user journey and help us create initial wireframes for the project. From there, they incorporated our teams feedback and user interviews into a comprehensive platform design for our MVP.

The primary goal was to scope the desktop and mobile components of our MVP, but we were able to do this with future goals and concepts in mind. Seven Metrics also helped us with prototyping and iterating on designs based on real usage and feedback.

My team worked directly with a project manager and two designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Overall we are very happy with the work that they have delivered. The UX/UI designs they created for us are the foundation for the product we are publicly launching this month. The designs are intuitive, user friendly, and help us accomplish a lot of tasks within a clean look. Our initial customers have been WOWed by the product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used a combination of Slack channels, Figma comments, and weekly Zoom meetings as the basis of our workflow. We added more when necessary, especially in the beginning and during times of user testing. Their team was very responsive and timely in getting back to us as well as incorporating our feedback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to design the fundamentals and great starting points even when our team was incredibly vague in our feature set and direction. As we refined our scope, their team was very impressive in incorporating our requirements into intuitive and beautiful UX/UI design.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes we did not fully understand the timeline and order of which designs needed to occur at the beginning of the project. After we learned that, this was no longer an issue.
