Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

SEO Guru Atlanta was contracted to handle comprehensive SEO services including on-page optimization, technical SEO improvements, content strategy, link building, and monthly performance tracking. However, the execution was far below expectations. Meta tags and headers were either duplicated or poorly structured, technical changes broke site elements, and their “optimized” content was off-topic and generic. The backlink strategy lacked relevance, offering no authority or value. Reports were superficial, with no actionable insights. Overall, the deliverables caused setbacks rather than improvements, and we had to spend additional resources to undo much of their work.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were no meaningful positive outcomes. Organic traffic remained flat or declined, keyword rankings dropped for core terms, and lead quality worsened. The content they created failed to engage our audience, and there was no measurable return on our investment. The project resulted in more damage control than progress.

Project management was disorganized and reactive. Deadlines were frequently missed or pushed without notice, and communication was inconsistent. Updates lacked clarity, and concerns were often dismissed or addressed too late. The team did not adapt to feedback well and showed little ownership over mistakes

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Unfortunately, nothing stood out in a positive way. The company lacked industry understanding, offered no real innovation, and delivered cookie-cutter solutions that didn’t fit our needs. What was marketed as tailored expertise turned out to be generic and underwhelming.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SEO Guru Atlanta could have done differently?

Nearly every area needs improvement from strategy alignment and communication to execution and accountability. They should have taken the time to understand our industry, followed through on deliverables, and responded promptly to concerns. A more competent, transparent, and results-driven approach was badly needed.

We have received more calls from people that are searching us online. We are also focusing on a specific business segment trying to get ranked and visible in that specific market.

They always delivered items on time and in a satisfactory manner. SEO Guru Atlanta has taken the time to educate us on what they will be doing and what they are trying to achieve. The previous company we used did not allow for as much feedback and we did not have immediate results that we had with SEO Guru Atlanta.
