I am an author, workshop facilitator and presenter. I write adult books and children's books. The children's books include experiments and are accompanied by online materials and videos.

SEO Artillery was engaged to help create my website and improve search engine ranking (SEO).

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

SEO Artillery was recommended highly by a close friend. When I first discussed the project with Aaron Parker I was encouraged by his evident level of expertise but it was his communication style and collaborative approach which was the deciding factor.

At the time I began working with Aaron, my business was essentially a start-up with a number of possible directions. We began by identifying those areas and prioritising them. Once this was done, Aaron built the scaffold of a website. He gave me tutorials in populating the website with keyword-heavy copy and we collaborated on the format.

Since the original website was created, my direction has changed and Aaron has been invaluable in helping keep my business agile by changing and updating where necessary in a very helpful and timely manner.

Aaron Parker worked with me. He is the Director of the business.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I could not be happier with the service I have had from SEO Artillery and the ongoing outcome. My website is still under development, but it is already ranking well. Aaron and I talk regularly and he has become an important part of my team.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Aaron works efficiently and quickly. His communication skills are second to none. The value of the work Aaron does is far more than he charges for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Aaron and SEO Artillery becomes a valued member of your team, unlike other web designers and SEO 'experts'. He calls regularly with ideas for improvement and hasn't led me astray yet!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything I would improve.

Aaron started with a full audit of my website, fixing up major issues. He then spend four months helping me rebuild the design and content to optimise it for SEO. This included a lot of back-end work that I'm not really across, but his communication was regular and constant. though-out the process

I needed to be found on Google, on page 1 so I would be visible for people who were searching for ghostwriters in my local area and surrounding areas.

I already knew this vendor personally and as he had some good reviews I decided to hire him.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Increased traffic from 300 visitors per month to over 4000 per month. Increased email subscribers from less than 1000 to over 4000, increased client contact rate to approximately 2 per month which is a threefold increase on previous activity. I now have a waiting list of clients which I never had before.

Timely, regular communication and always available to answer questions.

A high level of knowledge of their subject area. They delivered the results they promised.

I can't think of anything, the project went very smoothly and I was very happy with the results.
