The headline assignment was to take work with myself (the founder) to take the product vision from purely a concept, to fully fledged product designs. A research / business exploration phase was necessary to understand keys aspects of the product and align thinking on it's positioning within the wider competitor landscape. Once that was established, the other key deliverables would be: 

• Low-fidelity wireframes to establish core user goals. 
• User persona examples using high-fidelity wireframes to demonstrate the user interface and interactions. 
• All design collateral incl files & assets (delivered in Figma), color theme, typography, and icons. 
• Design system / style guide for on-going development.

All designs assets being delivered on schedule for the pre-agreed scope of features/goals.

Project management was responsive and professional.Deliverables were delivered on time and there was empathy when slight adjustments had to be made to scope. Big updates/ were milestones were shared via virtual presentations and/or Loom videos. Smaller updates were delivered asynchronously within Figma.

Their team strived to deliver customer satisfaction above "closing out" project at all costs, which at times required frank and transparent communication from both sides to make it work.

I think spending more time up-front in understanding and then demonstrating the product's objectives more deeply. We found ourselves re-visiting many concepts throughout the design process and therefore weren't as efficient as it could of been, especially since It was a relatively complex problem area and there were (understandably) some product unknowns.

Our continued collaboration involves the development and enhancement of our product, Hotpot. Hotpot serves as a tool designed to streamline the coordination of on-call work. Hotpot yields both reduced toil, increased productivity, and improved reliability. The work includes UI and UX work, consultation on usability, and larger scope work such as branding, site design, and materials for us in presentations and more!

Semiflat reliably delivers high-quality work and is highly collaborative. We've leveraged their expertise and advice for our entire under-development application.

We maintain daily communication with our assigned designer and have project management and other resources available to us as needed. Iteration is fast, with Semiflat regularly delivering quality work, quickly. Iterate is handled through Figma comments, Slack threads, or Zoom calls when we need more bandwidth. Our assigned designer takes care to respond to all our feedback and we're regularly impressed with their work!
