One of the recommended settings was exactly the same as our current set up, which made me question how it depth the account was reviewed. Other recommendations were relevant.
One suggestion: for points that can be implemented off the shelf (e.g. employee passwords), it could be useful to include a guide (e.g. from Odoo database) on implementation so the user (i.e. myself) can take action immediately.

I think sometimes there was room for being a bit more "big picture" in the process. Companies really benefit from a results centred approach so it might have been nice to move more in a partnership type approach after the initial period rather than maintaining the strict dev shop scope and invoice approach. This is not a criticism of Tarka or Sedin but hopefully just helpful and honest feedback in general for the tech process.

We’ve noticed a yearly income growth of about 50% since 2016, which has been driven by the product innovation and technologies provided by Sedin Technologies. The team has been instrumental in developing the key features that are allowing us to be at the top of our market segment.
Overall, Sedin Technologies’ work quality has been outstanding.

Sedin Technologies’ team has been meeting deadlines and staying on budget. The team is also great at working around our schedules and being available for us despite time zone differences. Regarding communication, we use Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet on a regular basis.

Sedin Technologies’ team is very responsive to our needs. The team is able to provide quality resources very quickly for us, and whenever something doesn’t work out, the team is great at sourcing a new element to fulfill our needs.

Establishment of a secure database for capturing real time participant data collected as part of the study across CRC sites. In alignment with the global best practices, integration of following features in the clinical database:
Automated generation of PID (site wise sequence)
Approval of eCRFs by Departmental admin
Query notification and resolution by any admin (Dept/Institutional/Central)
Automated validation and verification checks and CRF edits (identified based on pilot testing)
Creation of robust dashboards and reports indicators
Integration of Missed visits process flow and back data entry process (platform to enable entry from paper to eCRFs)
Knowledge transfer of server and database coding to Government of India
Backend support for smooth data entry process and UX

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As part of the National HIV Cohort Program, a secure browser based clinical database successfully developed and deployed at CRC sites, which is compliant to national/global standards, is multi-variate, multi-institutional and customizable as per the programmatic needs. The database is designed to enable systematic capture and management of clinical and laboratory data collected in the study and encompasses the following key features:
Database compliant to Data Management Guidelines, 2020 by NACO; In alignment with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, features including system validation, audit trails, record generation, operational checks integrated Different privileges for users and admins; Multiple users/admin can be created across different sites
Collection of data in electronic data collection tool (electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFS); Modifiable tool based on programmatic need
Once the participant data is captured in eCRFs and approved by departmental admin, users can only modify information for resolution of queries
Other features include automated generation of PID; Process flow for capturing missed visits Dashboard indicators with downloadable graphs/PDF; Data download in formats that can be uploaded in statistical software
Successful knowledge transfer of the server and coding to Government India
Constant back end support and reduced response time by the team.

A dedicated team was allocated various responsibilities for execution of the deliverables and point of contacts for each of the areas were assigned for effective communication. Bi-weekly virtual meetings were organized between Sedin, us, and ICMR NIE team (Data Management Unit for the study). Ad-hoc meetings were organised to seek clarity and resolve any queries by our team and NIE teams.

The approach to execution of work and product development is customized to the client needs and requirements. There is effective communication, and their senior leadership actively participates in discussions and mitigation of any risks or challenges.
The response time to address any queries/comments is short and the team follows up on the action items on a periodic basis. All process are well documented and communicated to the client in parallel to ensue client's buy in.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Sedin Technologies could have done differently?
Frequent changes in QA for the project delays timelines and multiple iterations are sometimes required to align the team on the requirement. This also leads to loss of process documentation at times and is challenging considering the timelines and quality.

The Sedin team delivers several reports every day, week, and month for ongoing initiatives related to maintaining the reliability and availability of the application, service performance during and after content releases, and their overall support of our company's systems.

The team effectively communicates information related to issues and incidents, keeps eyes on the environments at all times to ensure services are operating as expected and points out any issues not detected by our alerting schemes, and escalates when necessary.
