We were impacted by one of Google's EAT related algorithm updates and wanted to recover from it. To this end, we approached Search Logistics to run a multifaceted organic search campaign, looking at the following aspects:

• Boosting our perceived EAT scoring (Expertise, Authority and Trustworthiness).
• Radically improving our mobile page speed, and page experience scores
• Monthly Link building
• UX thinking for lead generation - Monthly Content generation.

As an agency lead, Gracjan J. was an exceptional service provider to us. We'd agreed on regular working calls, after which he would promptly supply email minutes covering task level actions required, who was responsible, and when it would be delivered by. Ad hoc correspondence was prompt and professional, and the firm was fast to adjust their activities based on our evolving requirements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Apart from the mature professionalism and clear technical acumen and depth of the firm's team, our account manager was exceptionally dedicated and passionate about their work. Deadlines were adhered to, reporting was consistent, and follow-up was effective throughout the full term of the project.

Their technical SEO interventions and EAT-related input has helped us fortify our ranking position against the changing backdrop of search algo changes, and I would highly recommend them as a service provider.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Search Logistics could have done differently?

Arguably not - we are a challenging client to write for - and to do SEO for, and I am of the opinion that very few agencies could have done a better job on this project (if any).

We hired them for SEO & link building. The main goal was to increase traffic in Google search.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They have a really good SEO blog and it was apparent they knew what they were doing by the content published in their blog.

It's been 4 years and we've done pretty much a total re-configuration of the website. It continues with ongoing onsite changes following what's working in the SERPS now.

We've had 4 managers in 4 years. Honestly some were really good, others not so much. If your project manager isn't working for you, just ask them for another one.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Everything they have suggested has been good. We've followed everything they said to do and even though Google seems to favor major magazine sites for e-commerce search terms, we are still ranking better than most of our competitors.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is very good, they are prompt at replying and if the project manager doesn't know the answer, the question will be forwarded to a specialist who can answer it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The high quality backlinks they've been able to get. (I previously tried to get links on some of these websites and was rejected).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I can think of now.

We needed help boosting our organic ratings, page view, traffic. We also wanted to improve our load times, resolve rendering issues, and increase conversions.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they did an initial needs assessment and set up metrics for success. From there, we looked at page rendering and speed. They checked out our plugins and pixels to make sure they were optimized. Next, we worked on building links and content.

We started working together in February 2020, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

At the end of the day, we look at traffic and conversions as metrics. Our domain rating has gone up since they came on board. Our load times and website responsiveness are also up. I’ve worked with dozens of agencies and it’s hard to find one that’s as transparent as they are. We appreciate how they teach us along the way.

How did Search Logistics perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Teamwork for project management. They’re always super responsive and ways to respond within the day.

The results and transparent communication really stand out. They’ve been great at showing us their approach every step of the way.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more time you put into the partnership, the better the results will be. Communicating, bringing up issues, and being clear on results are all important.

I'm the senior department director for Faxburner, a software company. We help people send and receive faxes without a fax machine, using their phone and/or email for free.

Search Logistics built backlinks, consulted on our SEO strategy, tracked and improved our rankings, developed quality content and blog posts to help us gain exposure and rankings, and suggested website updates to improve visibility and rankings. The team also updated key pages on our website, including the homepage and key feature pages.
