I’m the executive assistant at a flower petal and ash jewelry store. We also make wedding bouquets and funeral flowers.

We weren’t happy with our accountant and needed a new partner.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They do all of our bookkeeping. They cleaned up the mess that our last accountant left and now all of our books are clean. They’re actually working to help us save money and not pay them as much. Additionally, they helped us fill out the paperwork for our PPP loan.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our books are very clean and we know exactly where we spend our money. It also helps us know how much money we’re actually making. Even though it wasn’t their job, they were very helpful with the paperwork for our PPP loan. They went above and beyond for us.

How did Schmoyer and Company, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They send one person our way once a month. They get a backup and help me with anything I need while they’re here. They’re great about answering any questions. If we call them, they answer us right away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Anytime, day or night, they answer our questions immediately. The communication is amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One time they were behind on billing, which is funny because they’re accounting. We were feeling guilty after a while because they weren’t sending them. They got everything sorted out eventually.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re good for any large business, but they’re also good for small businesses, too. They’re not limited in what they can do for anyone.
