We wanted the software to digitise this to make the process more streamlined, efficient and consistent and improve both the results and experience. We decided to go the custom development route because the majority of existing solutions were either lacking in ability or intuitive design. The Sapphire team managed to provide design, development, testing, and troubleshooting for our software.

We were looking out for an experienced company that could cover all aspects of the development we needed. We undertook a detailed search for appropriate companies on Google and shortlisted 5 for interview. Since our requirements would develop over time so we wanted to make sure we could find a company who could support us and develop the system over a period of time. The team stood out as a dynamic and flexible one with capability to bring ideas to the table to help improve the ultimate output.

When you have teachers, librarians, non-teaching staff, and all the other individuals who make up our school’s human resource, have payroll and Employee payroll processing is a time-consuming task. With the software has enable automatic updating, decrease paperwork, and make it easier to provide accurate data.Employees may monitor their attendance, request time off, enroll in classes, access documents, and more from any location. It allows employees complete control over their administrative responsibilities, thus helping to boost employee morale and satisfaction.

During the initial stages, we worked with a Business Analyst, Designer. After we started the Development Phase we work closely with a Project manager, Front-End and Back-End developers, and QA.

They have a very skilled team that has been dedicated to our project. The team is always highly responsive and resolved the bugs reported as soon as possible. The initial part of the software was done successfully , we have added significant new aspects and enhancements to the platform and have a roadmap for ongoing future development with Sapphire.

Communication was great. We were in close, daily contact. The development process overall was a slice of heaven. Everybody was transparent with their needs and requirements and gave the reports on time.

They’re proactive, come up with solutions, and provide feedback. If there’s something they aren't aware of, they do the research to make it happen. They have good business ethics.

With the additional modules added, we can communicate with the parents very easily, can send scheduled messages and for anytime, anywhere payment integrated multiple payment gateways.

It was easy for them to understand our concept as they were already using a similar software for managing their employee attendance and time sheets. With the software we wanted to have a track and maintain the entry and exit of every employee that facilitates in faultless payroll calculations, can manage the leaves and holidays efficiently, complete record of the employee details. The software was installed around December'17, and we have received constant support since then.

The project was divided into three phases, the first phase included the designing and layout of the screens of the application alongside admin panel development, after approval of which they started with the actual development of the app, and the third phase was the final testing and some bug fixing. The tool and technologies used were Adobe Illustrator for design, Java for app frontend and backend using Laravel (PHP)

The deliverables were of high quality and met the intended purpose/expectation. We were very concerned about intuitive design and the deliverables have received significant positive feedback for simple, clear, and intuitive operations.

Sapphire's project management was incredibly collaborative and open. They were very clear at the beginning that our constant engagement would be a key factor in success and made sure that everything was transparent and timely. We finished on time and on budget

The application for our institution, is a user-friendly application to be used by students, teachers as well as the management, to manage online classes (Zoom integrations) with just a click, hence while starting the classes teacher doesn't need to share the code every time, and just need to click start lecture for teacher and record the student’s attendance accordingly and join lecture for the students, one to one chat in case of doubts that a student can clear with the respective teacher.

Overall, the communication is what really impressed us. We were able to work with them whenever we needed, and they answered all of our calls, emails, and texts pretty much right away. That was extremely helpful to us.
