What was the scope of their involvement? 

Initially we took help from the Sapphire to get sms and email integration, gradually that got converted into a windows-based software with more features. Now currently also getting support, help through other facilities like to have a landing page on schoolsearchlist.com, pathtoschool.com, etc.

We were in constant touch with the main lead person I remember, and once our expectation is done, they show us the demo and deliver the same. Now we are in touch with maintenance team.

How did you come to work with the vendor?

It being long time, that we hire them, may be through google search. Kalol is a small town back in 5 years, and the nearest place was their city so probably we search on google to find the software company.

How much have you invested with them?

It is from finance department, cannot really disclose it and rough total cost based on number of students every year and hard to judge since every year we have to keep on changing as per student’s capacity. Initially it was a really small amount that we invested and now the value is kept on changing and we are not really allowed to take permission of the total cost. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We get maintenance and support. Also help for any new updates that we are looking for, or any on demand services that we ask them.

Probably all the list of tickets that they generate since we send them to finance.

They were great and did their best with any issues that we brought to them.

Their standby for any queries or concern we take to them, also at the time of development I do remember they were having a lot patients in us since we are not so good in tech and they explain the present and future vision of the software and that’s what we are experience it so useful.

Their timing was impeccable. The amount of re-work that needed to be done was far less than in other projects. The client was very happy with the work as well as suggestions given along the way to improve the product.

The team’s ability to project what’s going to happen accurately is invaluable. Their developers are of much better quality.

My advice is to them is to keep their engagement level high at all levels.

QA team should know more about the product. Ask a lot of questions. Clients are always willing to help and respond. The only way to get more knowledge about the product is by asking questions.

No assumption. Better to ask even for just confirmation of your understanding.
