Please describe your company and your position there.

Earlyone is a SaaS company with a mission to minimize wait time in the queues by empowering businesses with data driven decision making customer service and customer flow management solutions. I am the founder and the CEO of the Earlyone.

We have requested them to support us with sales materials and messages.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a company which is professional in their field and has enough experience in creating deck for software companies. After the first meeting and our request, their approach seemed promising so we decided to collaborate with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We kicked off with a questionnaire, after which Rite presented their research and ideas on the positioning. After that we created the structure & content. A few revisions later, we were presented with the design, after which we finalized the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The product pitching concept which has been suggested from the Rite team has improved the way we communicate value, which eventually resulted in faster deal closing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

3 team members of ours have been actively collaborating with the Rite team. I would say it was pretty good.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They speak the same language as we do.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The process was sometimes artificially slowed down because of too perfectionist approach by the Rite team

I’m a partner at Formula VC, a venture capital firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rite Agency?

We needed a company that could help us redefine our corporate identity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rite Agency started the engagement by interviewing the firm’s partners and conducting research on what both our VCs are doing globally. We then had several brainstorming sessions and discussions, after which Rite Agency came up with a branding concept. They delivered a complete brand book, which included new logos, corporate colors, design templates, and everything that we needed for our messaging and how we presented ourselves as a brand.

We worked with the CEO and art director at Rite Agency.

How did you come to work with Rite Agency?

We already knew of Rite Agency before we worked with them on this project. They were also already familiar with our industry and had a footprint in the startup ecosystem in our country, which was why we chose them for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $5,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May –June 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have any success metrics yet, but Rite Agency delivered a solid new corporate style, and our new color palette is quite presentable and matches our industry standards. We’re planning to start our social media marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and engagement, and this new brand identity will play a vital role in that.

How did Rite Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Rite Agency performed well in terms of project management. We had in-person meetings, and we typically communicated through Telegram, Facebook Messenger, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were most impressed with Rite Agency’s industry knowledge and collaborative approach. They acted like genuine members of our internal team, which allowed for a smooth and effective workflow.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could benefit from scaling their team and offering more services. Other than that, they did a really great job, and we were satisfied with their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to be open and consider them as true members of your team and not just a contractor to ensure a more collaborative partnership.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and president of BANA Angels, which is the Business Angel Network of Armenia. We’re one of the largest angel investor networks in the country.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Rite Agency?

We needed help with brand recognition and engagement. We’d achieved a lot of success, but it was only within our small circle.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially tried to make the brand more easily memorable; we were known as the Business Angel Network of Armenia. Rite Agency recommended it to be shorter, easier to remember, and more personal for the network members. Then, they did a whole new branding for us. 

Before doing the rebranding, Rite Agency did a lot of research. We put them in touch with some of our investors, and they interviewed them and everyone on our team to speak about our company. They asked about our communication strategy and then moved on to create our corporate identity, logo, and brand book. Our logo had an elephant; we asked them to keep it in, but they could do anything around that.

The team developed a communication strategy for us to interact with our members, investors, and partners. Rite Agency created guidelines on the words we needed to use and the attitude we should have in different scenarios. From there, they held our hand to make sure that we implemented everything properly.

Rite Agency also designed packages for existing and new investors; they had a personal message from me, a pin with the logo, a nice pen, and an access card to our office with their name on it. Additionally, they worked with a development company to ensure that the new website would be in line with our new identity and communication strategy.

What is the team composition?

We were mostly in contact with the CEO and the art director, but we also worked with a designer and a content writer.

How did you come to work with Rite Agency?

They helped some of our start-ups to build their pitch decks and communication, so we hired them to do the same for our company. We chose them because they had a personal approach and knowledge of what we do, so they were familiar with the sector and industry. We also saw how they worked with other companies and knew we could work with them.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from February–July 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t have a communication strategy before, so it was a big improvement. The engagement rate went up significantly after we implemented their strategy. Also, we’d never thought of increasing the engagement rate with our investors. It made them feel like they were a part of something bigger.

Additionally, we had a couple of events where we had positive feedback about the new communication and the branding. We never thought that was important or that it’d have a significant impact, but it did; this was their doing.

How did Rite Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a group chat on Telegram, and they answered all our questions. Communication was excellent; we never had to wait for a reply.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They impressed us with how in-depth they went with their job. They told us more about what we did, how it worked, and its impact. With the interviews they did, we realized how we were seen as a company, which gave us an opportunity to do better.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had no complaints. Things can always be improved, but I can’t put my finger on something.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open with them about your goals and ambitions. For a while, it felt like they were part of our team. We were all working towards the same goal, which we really appreciated.
