Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Our company has developed a basic internal ticketing tool in prototyping stages. The look and feel of the site was an aftermath. That is where UI design services were needed to enhance the look of the site while maintaining the layout to the maximum extent possible. Deliverables would be screens generated in Figma and transfer of these files.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Files in Figma, a format that our devs whose metadata our devs can analyze. 
2. Aesthetic appeal 
3. Making the site easy to use without aid of any guide or tutorial.

I had added the assigned project member on skype. We had daily interactions and daily updates on the work. The work was being done on a live shared document so feedback was regular and was at every step.

We're impressed with their on-time delivery and satisfactory job. Good communication.

I have not worked extensively to have a remark on this. Only worked with them for 2 weeks.

I am the CEO of an Ed-tech startup www.skillatwill.com. A platform designed to connect learners and trainers in India.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ripple Design?

We had the basic website to connect the learners and trainers by offering courses on the platform, however, we wanted to add the user module, classroom management and social networking features to our website to increase engagement and deliver a good user experience to our customers. Since we didn't have an in-house team, we outsourced the complete designing to Ripple design.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to get more engagement on the website and increase our userbase multifold.

How did you select Ripple Design?

I got to know about the ripple design through my personal connections and started talking about the requirements.

The project started in early July and we got the initial set of screens within the first week itself. And all the other screen designs (both web and mobile) were delivered by the end of August.

What was the team composition?

It was easy to collaborate as we were assigned just one person to communicate with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Some of the screen designs went live a few weeks back, and the feedback from the users were really good. Other designs are being incorporated as well and will be launched in the coming month.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used to have a weekly call to discuss the status of the project. And in case of clarifications ripple design would get in touch with us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The simple and intuitive designs that they delivered is very impressive. We are expecting great engagement on our website in the coming months.

We were satisfied with the work.

I’m the CTO of a skydiving and aviation company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ripple Design?

We needed help with UI/UX design for our custom session initiation protocol (SIP) phone system. I could draw what I wanted, but needed help implementing it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ripple Design developed an efficient UI/UX for our business management system while working with our technical development team. Using Adobe XD and Zeplin, they created and edited booking screens and enabled reservation capabilities. They also connected the system to a call center agent, flight dispatch, and payroll. 

They also provided QA on our technical team’s work, and made suggestions for improvement.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with one person who worked on our project full-time.  

How did you come to work with Ripple Design?

Ripple Design was working on another project with our technical team. I knew that Ripple Design had to go through a rigorous process before being brought onto that project, so I had faith in them. I’ve outsourced many IT projects before, but I knew that I could work with Ripple Design immediately. I didn’t have to explain anything to them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in May 2019 and the project is ongoing. We have finished our early phases and have moved into production.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

This wasn’t an easy project, but the applications are really simple to use. We have been able to achieve our visible objectives, which is great for productivity.

How did Ripple Design perform from a project management standpoint?

They worked very closely with our technical development team, which was really helpful. In other projects, I’ve noticed that UI/UX teams can have great designs, but the technical teams aren’t able to execute. Ripple Design alleviated those issues by communicating directly with our team and answering any questions we had. They proactively made suggestions about how to improve functionality within our existing database.

They utilized screen sharing tools to make it simple for us to provide feedback. Additionally, they used pictures, user flows, and animations to demonstrate how the platforms would work.

It was easy to collaborate with them because they worked around my schedule, even if it was a hassle for them. In the past, I’ve also faced language barriers when we’ve outsourced, but we didn’t have any of those challenges with Ripple Design.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As we considered more aspects of UX, our requirements for our technical team evolved. I was impressed that Ripple Design was able to communicate those changes with the development team and made everything really easy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Even though I can be quite ruthless, I can’t think of anything they need to improve.

We hired Ripple Design to develop the UX for a project we were working on. Our mandate for the project was to create a minimalistic user interface that could effectively display complex data elements such as graphs and data grids. To meet this mandate, Ripple Design conducted extensive research on various minimalistic UIs and worked closely with our team to understand the specific needs and goals of the project.

They were able to create a clean, intuitive UX that effectively displayed all of the necessary data elements while still maintaining a minimalistic aesthetic. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the work that Ripple Design did on the project. They were able to deliver a UX that not only met our requirements but exceeded our expectations. We believe that Ripple Design could benefit from taking more time to fully understand our feedback and incorporate it into their designs. This would help to ensure that the final product better meets our needs and expectations.

I am the founder of Blueprint Co., a construction collaboration tool that aims to aid various teams working on any infrastructure project through collaboration. Our SaaS product helps in reduction construction costs through rework by providing teams with better planning capabilities. The platform also helps in increasing efficiency and reduces time spent on travel to and from a site.

I was referred to Ripple through someone in the UI/UX field.

Sunny, Shikha and Sadia were really helpful through each stage. The project involved a lot of brainstorming and working together to understand what we could do to bring the idea of Blueprint to fruition. The entire Ripple Design team were always willing to get on a call to discuss various issues during the design phase. They were extremely proactive and had great suggestions at each point.

They did a considerable amount of research into the industry and the space through user interviews as well as by themselves so that they could understand the product better.

How many resources from the Ripple Design team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Through the course of the project, I had the pleasure of working with 5 members of the Ripple Design team. At any given point, I worked with 3 people. This was due to the project being split up into 2 parts. A few of the team members I worked with: Sadia-Senior Designer Shikha-HR and Ops Sunny-Founder I also worked with 2 junior to mid level designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team at Ripple worked on giving me something far superior than what I had expected. Yes, this took time but it was totally worth it. Their suggestions and ideas on how we could make the platform better were great. Users of the platform really like the design language and how simple the platform is to use.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were extremely communicative and would be very open to new ideas and suggestions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They enjoyed what they do and worked well together. We worked really well together since we were open and receptive to each others suggestions and thought processes. Even when it came to criticism, they took it very constructively.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If I could say anything at all in terms of them doing something differently, would be to get the junior designers more involved in the calls. Most suggestions came from the senior members of the team. I would have been nice to hear the rest of the teams inputs too!
