What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We needed someone to develop our website, make it SEO [search engine optimization] friendly and keyword rich, and provide ongoing maintenance and support. RichestSoft is the only provider I've used for KickPin.com. I’ve used many other web developers and designers for other sites.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website design and content were done by a separate designer, so RichestSoft translated those designs into a WordPress site and did SEO and some additional CSS and HTML coding. We had the keyword work done already. RichestSoft just had to integrate the SEO into the actual development of the site.

We initially found RichestSoft on Elance or Upwork, I forget which one. After that first contract was done, we started using them. We liked the quality of their work relative to their price point. They had a solid resume of prior experience and good reviews. We picked them based on a combination of those things: price point, quality of work, and prior reviews.

I think we probably have invested $2,500 with RichestSoft.

What is the status of this engagement?

I think we started working with RichestSoft 18 months ago, and our work with them is ongoing. I’ve actually used them to develop two other sites.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The functionality of our website is great. Once we decided how we wanted different sections to function, RichestSoft was great at execution. Their delivery based on our requirements was top notch. Part of the challenge was deciding what we actually wanted to do. Another advantage of RichestSoft was that they were flexible. We were changing our minds constantly, and they never had a problem with that. They would just say, “OK, great,” and make the new set of changes. I don't have solid, referenceable data that I can provide, but we definitely saw some improved traction based on the SEO work that they had done.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

RichestSoft performs well and they’re responsive. They manage issues and challenges well, and they communicate promptly. They kind of have all the fundamentals in place. I chose one point of contact, and we primarily used Skype and email to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

I think their value is the most impressive thing about them. The dollar spent for what we received was great. You don't typically see that price point resulting in that level of quality, so that’s been pretty significant for us.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

I'd like RichestSoft to ask more questions before taking action. There were a couple of instances where they went down a path, and if they had asked a couple of questions, then it would have saved them time. Fortunately, they didn't charge us for that.

I occasionally need to build web solutions, so I looked for a firm with PHP coding experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The work is mainly around the service provider who facilitates the booking for a hotel. The hotel has a promotional website, and it needs a link to the service that maintains the bookings. RichestSoft created an interface where we pass on the right parameters, with dates and other variables that are pushed through a PHP interface. They’ve worked on about 15 of these projects for me.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

I found RchestSoft on Upwork. I looked for a skilled PHP developer who could build some little components, some modules or widgets. They looked like they had the skill for it.

I would say I’ve spent about $7,000–$8,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first contract together began in January of 2014, and the relationship is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The quality of RchestSoft's work is good.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

At times, I’ve gotten frustrated when communicating with RchestSoft on Skype or Google Talk to work through a problem. I feel that I’m not really talking to the person who’s working on the project, but rather someone who’s just bouncing messages back to me. I have to reiterate things that we had agreed upon earlier, just to get something back on track or get a resolution.

If we have a problem with something RchestSoft worked on, they respond right away and help you the same day, which is fantastic. It’s one of the things that pulls me to go back to them. It’s great that they take ownership and jump in to help. I’ve never had an issue with deadlines. Some things are a few days late, but I always budget a little extra time. It’s rare that we have time left over, but it’s always fair.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

RchestSoft takes ownership of their work. If a project they worked on has an issue, they jump in and try to fix it. That’s commendable, and it’s a big part of why I keep going back to them. Also, I like that I work with the same person from one project to the next.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

Sometimes they don’t think the project all the way through. Sometimes the solutions could be done in a simpler way if we get some sample code sent to us. RchestSoft builds the whole solution instead of using another tool that allows some code to run. For example, they built their translated interface for calendars. I’ve had to provide guidance on the most efficient way to do things, but they always get a solution that works. They spend more time than is required to get the job done, but it’s always within budget.

RichestSoft moved all of our member information from one program to the other, which was pretty labor intensive. They did a great job and everything is working well. They have been helping to integrate other website APIs into our website.

I send them a message anytime I have issues with the site, and they take care of it right away.

They’ve taken care of everything we’ve sent to them. I haven’t had any complaints. We communicate daily through email and Skype. We’re in the US and RichestSoft is in India, so they’re working when we’re asleep and vice versa. We have a little lag but, for us, it’s actually not too bad.

They have an impressive knowledge of our type of website. They have the ability to use APIs from other websites to make our site work. This has been very helpful.

We needed a higher level of web development at a lower cost. We had in-house developers and had also worked with other agencies in the past. The agencies we have used were not able to meet deadlines and their quality was poor, that’s why we were looking for a dependable agency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

There are three main categories where we have used RichestSoft’s services to support our clients. The biggest thing they do is web development, both frontend and backend. They can do design and database work on multiple platforms. The second thing they do for us is PPC [pay-per-click], SEO [search engine optimization], and reputation management. They have experts in these fields as well as in social media. Lastly, they do a bit of mobile app development work for us. They’re such a dependable company that I turn to them for most of my technical needs although I do have other companies I use as well. There are some projects they do from scratch and other projects where they lend technical support. RichestSoft doesn’t deal with my clients directly. I manage the client, then send the work to RichestSoft.

One of the larger projects they did was develop a law firm website from scratch. We also did some backend things including need-mapping programs that mapped out the success of a particular law firm. The mapping technology that RichestSoft developed put a pin over every spot on a map of the United States where that law firm had served a client. It even organized the pins by color, based on the type of client that was served. It’s been an ongoing project because the client wants so many changes.

I was doing some research on Upwork and found the owner of RichestSoft. I started a conversation with him and gave him a small project as a test. The things that I was looking for were the quality of work, timeliness, and, very importantly, his ability to communicate whether he had a question or I had a question. I’ve hired many members of his team since then, and they always communicate with me.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work is top-notch. I’ve never worked with a perfect company, but I give this team a perfect score. The reason I rate them so highly is because they will fix anything that I don’t like without complaining. I don’t have time for whining contractors; if I have a complaint, I need it fixed. I have some really demanding clients, and when they see the quality of the work produced by RichestSoft, they’re very pleased.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They always get projects done on time, otherwise, they would communicate that they need more time. They have the ability to add more staff when needed. No matter how big the project, they will get it done on time. Our main source of communication is email, but if there’s a project that requires more collaboration, we use videoconferencing through Skype or Google Hangouts.

Not only do they do quality work but they communicate. The biggest challenge I’ve had with contractors is the lack of communication. RichestSoft really communicates, which is so critical in project management.

We needed support to build a custom wallet and platform for real-time cryptocurrency price tracking.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RichestSoft is responsible for developing a website and mobile app to track cryptocurrency prices in real time. We also provide multi-currency support and a peer-to-peer trading platform, and users can deposit and withdraw their funds through our app. The team uses Node.js and other technologies we've discussed. I had an idea for our platform, and RichestSoft has built it from scratch. 

The product has been launched to the market, and RichestSoft is testing it, providing support, and addressing bugs.

We're working with three managers from RichestSoft, and around 10 teammates are working on our app.

We did a lot of research online and spoke with several service providers. We eventually hired RichestSoft because they responded quickly to our inquiry, and we joined a meeting shortly after contacting them. We noticed the team had a good response rate to emails.

We began working with RichestSoft around a year ago, and our engagement is ongoing.

RichestSoft has just launched the app, which offers a good experience. We're testing the app and sending bugs we find to the team, accommodating their work. We go back an forth if we need help from RichestSoft. The app's quality is good, and I'm satisfied.

We communicate daily via email, phone calls, and Zoom meetings. RichestSoft's project management is good, and we use their tool to track tasks. RichestSoft has a good response rate.

I don't find anything RichestSoft can improve on so far.

I suggest sending RichestSoft an email. The team will respond quickly and understand your requirements. RichestSoft has been good at identifying our needs since the first kick-off call. After the kick-off call, the team will start delivering modules, and you'll be able to set milestones so RichestSoft can deliver accordingly.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

I needed help building an edtech web application. I know a little bit of computer programming, but I knew developing a platform like this by myself would have been a huge undertaking.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RichestSoft built a learning management system subsidized by ads. We initially planned the web app's frontend and UX and eventually moved into the app's backend development. The team developed the app's features using PHP, Java, and other languages and presented a prototype model. We tested the prototype for 1–2 months, and RichestSoft also helped with SEO.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I haven't launched the platform because I'm waiting to have meetings with investors and have approval from the school district. RichestSoft's overall work quality was good. I was thrilled with the platform and what it looked like. I also liked how much RichestSoft cared about my project and vision, and I had a great experience. I didn't ask for an easy task, and RichestSoft did a great job. 

I recommend RichestSoft for entrepreneurs looking to build unique software. I could contact the team on my own time and discuss all the unique classifications they needed and intellectual property content.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Every RichestSoft teammate I worked with was very attentive and met with me the next day when I required a meeting since I'm located in the US and they're in India and Pakistan.

The budget increased as time went on because we had some initial miscommunication issues. What I initially described to RichestSoft wasn't the estimate provided, and the budget doubled, which was closer to the estimates provided by other service providers I contacted. However, RichestSoft's work ethic was outstanding, and the team delivered what I requested.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was pleasantly surprised by how our project turned out and hoped to build a better relationship with RichestSoft to keep developing edtech products with them.

We sometimes had some miscommunication due to our different locations, but overall, RichestSoft met my expectations. I'm a part-time teacher living in the US, and RichestSoft helped me get the app to a good point and close to what I needed it to be.

I recommend future customers to map out their application or software development needs perfectly. I was familiar with programming, but there were many things I didn't consider for a software development project since this was my first time working on one. PoolsMagnic is still an ongoing project. Richestsoft was able to build the phase one Website of PoolsMagnic in a timely manner. They were attentive to detail and consistent with what I asked.

We communicated through Upwork, delivered Written Milestones to Richestsoft. We agreed on the time and the price. After they are done with Milestone, they get my approval. Then, they pushed the code to my Github account.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

My website is complicated and It is by no means easy. They used the latest technologies to build it. When I give them a design of the website, they always make it better and deliver faster than the requested time. They were more than happy to make any changes I asked for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After testing each milestone, if there are some parts that I'm not satisfied with, they always looking for my feedback and change it that is satisfactory to me.
