I’m the VP of engineering services at an engineering consulting firm specializing in providing fire protection services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rho Recruitment?

We needed their team’s recruitment services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rho Recruitment currently supports our recruitment pipeline — they introduce us to quality resources that fit our industry-specific requirements. Our usual vetting process involves the following stages: briefing, candidate profiling, interviewing, and shortlisting. 

We relay our particular recruitment needs and job descriptions to Rho Recruitment’s team, and they then share profiles of potential candidates that fit our criteria. Once we finalize the shortlisted candidates we want to interview, Rho Recruitment arranges the next stages for us, and we kick off the onboarding process.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is a recruitment specialist from their team.

How did you come to work with Rho Recruitment?

Rho Recruitment reached out to us to introduce their services. While other agencies also contacted us, we realized that Rho Recruitment was the right partner to rely on for our needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

We kicked off the engagement in March 2021, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Rho Recruitment has a systematic recruitment process that rewards us with productive resources. We’ve officially onboarded one successful candidate, and we’re happy with his performance so far. 

We’re still in the process of filtering candidates with the potential to occupy different roles in our company, and we trust that their team will deliver the same quality of results.

How did Rho Recruitment perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via email. Rho Recruitment has reliable project management and assessment skills — they have a thorough understanding of our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Rho Recruitment is an easy team to work with. They’re responsive, and they comprehend both our requirements and business processes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing else that needs improvement at this point in our partnership. We’ve had communication issues with one candidate, but that’s not their team’s inadequacy.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the H&S/HR Coordinator for a medium sized company that specializes in safety inspections and custom metal fabrication products.

For what projects/services did your company hire Rho Recruitment?

We hired Rho Recruitment to assist in filling a role in our Engineering Department. We needed a person with experience designing similar projects we take on, specifically customized lifting devices.

SOLUTION

How did you select RHO Recruitment and what were the deciding factors?

I had a brief call with Peter Sawicki - we discussed my hiring needs and what they could offer. Their fee was a deciding factor, they were a bit lower than other firms we were considering.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

This project was a single hire. We had a phone call to discuss the role and qualifications for the role. Peter would send resumes and I would send to the hiring manager for their input. My hiring manager would review and tell me which people they wanted to meet with. I would coordinate with Peter. An offer letter was extended through Peter as well as any questions the candidate had for us.

I dealt with Petr Sawicki, co-founder.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We hired one of the candidates presented to us by Rho Recruitment.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Peter and I were in frequent contact. He sought feedback about the candidates presented and was asking questions to fine-tune his screening.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They clearly understood what we need in the position, which was better than the larger firms I dealt with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think communication directly with the hiring manager could have streamlined this process, however it is hard to say. We had a candidate hired within a month, so having myself act as a go between didn't hurt the process.
