We hired RevovleAI to build advance video analysis system.

I asked their team to build a cloud-based platform for human behavior analysis (using video stream as a source) that brings our massive computational capabilities to bear on high variety of societal issues impact after the covid-19 including inappropriate gathering of people, wearing the mask and gloves, body temperature control, face recognition, and environmental protection.

This platform is working through real time from video of a user’s camera. The main goal of this project is a fully functional cloud-based system and iOS App that will help in the current crisis of COVID-19 by automating SOP’s violation detection.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We divided the project into five major modules

1. Social Distancing
2. Mask detection
3. glove detection
4. Deployment on the cloud
5. Development of iOS App

We started off our project with implementation of a social distancing module and its integration on the cloud platform, once we have completed this module perfectly then we started the development of the next two modules which were Mask detection and gloves detection. Currently are working on the iOS app, offline mode and cloud-based functionality.

What was the team composition?

I was directly in contact with the project Lead and other than that there were three developers who were working on the different modules and one QA to ensure the smooth functionality of the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We have developed this App to implement SOP violation detection in our Company with respect to COVID-19 and the iOS App is for field survey of our company clients.

They’re Excellent at looking at the scope of the work and identifying its complexities. Their Team Identified the complex task and communicate their uncertainties and how long it will take to complete the project

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We’re working with an AI team from RevovleAI, they have really Good communication skills and we faced no language barriers with them. I found the team very competitive. The conscientious nature of the team has really made a difference in our working relationship and the success of the work we’ve been doing. They always make sure about the quality of the delivery they made.

Not Really, they were extraordinary in all aspects.

I am the founder of Pixsle. Pixsle is a mobile application for Android and iOS devices that allows photographers to deliver photos in real-time directly to their clients’ mobile devices using facial recognition.

I asked Revolve AI to develop Pixsle from the ground up. They were tasked with figuring out how to leverage Facial Recognition AI to help photographers send their professional photos directly to their clients. They also worked on implementing an automatic download of photographs directly from a DSLR camera to a smartphone.

What were your goals for this project?

My goals were to first create a functioning app. This app idea has never been implemented in the market quite like this. So the devs had to utilize their skill to implement the facial recognition of photographs.

How did you select this vendor?

I had met one of the programmers on a freelancing website. On the site, we talked about Pixsle, the goals for the app, and the potential hazards of implementation. I was instantly drawn to the honesty the developers portrayed and their overwhelming knowledge.

Describe the project in detail.

The project started with implementing an automatic download of photographs from a DSLR. Once complete we implemented the facial recognition AI. This allowed us to match the uploaded photos with the correct client. Afterward, we worked on UI/UX and implemented over 50 pages. The project is now in a stage of debugging and testing. I am happy to announce that it is currently live and in use.

What was the team composition?

I was assigned a project lead who was my main contact source. Then the project was assigned a QA tech that tested all updates from the developers. Currently, Pixsle has a team of over 8 individuals working to improve the app. This includes 2 iOS devs, 3 Android Devs, 2 Back end devs, and multiple project managers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the first trial event, the application turned a profit which was astounding for the extent of the application. I was amazed that it was able to function and deliver the photos to the correct clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager has been extremely helpful. I go to one single person for all my Pixsle related tasks. I also have contact with every developer on the staff if I'd like to have conversations with each individual. Often this is not necessary, as the project lead handles a majority of the legwork.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to find the most cost-effective solution while not wasting time or money. It has been a pleasure working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The one area of improvement would be consistency with updates regarding the status of the project. However, once I ask what the status is, they update me immediately.

We hired revolveAI to help us build out our AI Search product. We had a rough idea of the end goal which was to have a software product that allowed users to browse, search , and compare regulatory compliance data in the gaming industries. we needed a team that could build out an AI Search model , a text classification model , as well as build out our backend and frontend environment.

I did some research to understand the AI terms as best as possible and put together an upwork listing detailing our exact ask. RevolveAI responded , explaining that they understood the goal , however, we should consider other methods to satisfy our AI needs

This product is a search and document understanding product to help gaming operators achieve and maintain regulatory compliance easier and find the information they need faster.

Scope of work was

1. to build and train a question answering AI model
2. to fine tune this model with our teams annotations and domain knowledge
3. to build a production user facing frontend
4. to build a backend document repository
5. to make it production ready and ready to scale and be supported accordingly

primarily our communication was with Umer and Usman directly , however we did have some communication with a few other resources. maybe 4 in total that we communicated with. i'm not sure how many in total worked on the product itself

The team did a great job of building out our product and shifting as change in scope happened and/or issues arose and needed to be changed/fixed, adjusted. They provided expert knowledge in their frontend, backend and ai development fields and always provided us their opinion to help guide us toward the best outcome

we communicated over teams and on bi-weekly calls. they were always available to answer questions , even considering the time difference between US EST and Pakistan timezones .

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are able to communicate design and development very well. Umer always was very thoughtful in his development and would push back on our ideas with his own when he knew of something that would work out better than what we had originally thought of.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

there was some communication gap when it came to the AI development. Our annotation team could have used some more guidance initially on what was required from our end to help better train our model.

They researched the requirements and came up with a proposal for my problem. We then had weekly meetings to ensure the project is on track with weekly documentation of the every stage. The final product was a full functioning machine learning algorithm that is currently being integrated to our system for pattern detection and predictions.

My main point of contact was their Manager Muhammed but I did occasionally had other members of their dev team in the weekly meetings.
