What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Report Simple has delivered a fully maintained and developed dashboard that has remained operational at all times. The dashboard has resulted in faster reporting times, increased data accuracy, and greater oversight of data in a visual sense. The increased tabs on the dashboard provide greater visibility to assessment and improve performance.

How did Report Simple perform from a project management standpoint?

Report Simple has delivered on time, and I'm very happy with their project management. We communicate through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ross (Founder) is great. He has a nice demeanor, is always on time, is technically strong, and helps us implement thoughts and put them into practice.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

I'm the CPO at Cupid Media, where we run a portfolio of 33 niche dating sites connecting 55 million members worldwide — helping people find love regardless of location or background.

What challenge were you trying to address with Report Simple?

We needed support migrating our BI infrastructure to Tableau and Google BigQuery, along with help implementing machine learning solutions, running monthly health checks, delivering ad hoc analysis and insights, and maintaining our BI platform overall.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Report Simple migrated our data from legacy, disparate systems into a unified BI platform on Tableau and BigQuery. The team built the ETL pipelines to bring data from multiple sources into BigQuery data lakes, designing them to be robust, fast, accurate, and cost-effective. They also developed all of our Tableau reports with segmented views so employees can self-serve and gain insights quickly, and they continue to manage the health of our entire platform.

We typically work with a team of two to five people from Report Simple.

How did you come to work with Report Simple?

I'd worked with Matt, their CEO, before and knew firsthand that his work was excellent and that we collaborated well together.

We began working with Report Simple in January 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have plenty of measurable results, though I don't have the exact figures on hand right now. What I can say is that our employees are far more effective in their roles, since they now have a single source of truth for reporting that's fast and easy to filter and segment.

Report Simple has been extremely reliable, communicating clearly throughout the project and consistently delivering results on time. We stay in touch through in-person and virtual meetings, as well as email and messaging apps.

We needed to build a single source of truth for paid marketing performance, replacing fragmented data spread across platforms with consistent, trustworthy reporting. We also wanted to tie campaign spend to real revenue through full-funnel attribution so the team could see which channels, campaigns, and messages actually drove business outcomes.

They have designed and implemented a robust data structure that consolidates paid marketing data across all channels, aligning every source to a consistent level of granularity to create a reliable reporting foundation.Report Simple has linked this marketing cost data to our first-party customer and revenue data, enabling automated reporting that shows exactly which channels, campaigns, and messages are driving revenue. They have mapped every customer touchpoint across the funnel, giving us a holistic view of the customer journey and true campaign impact.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a 62% increase in marketing ROI following the unified analytics rollout. We can now accurately measure performance across all channels, identify high-performing traffic sources, map customer journey touchpoints, and optimize email and SMS campaigns based on true revenue impact. We’ve also seen improvements in lead quality and conversion rates.
