I’m the owner of a business consulting company.

What challenge were you trying to address with REBL Marketing?

We wanted to create new branding and positioning for a new offering.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us create a brand name and a logo, along with the coloring and graphics for it. They also assisted us in cleaning up our pitch deck for our elevator pitch. Additionally, they improved our LinkedIn profile and website, making sure our positioning was consistent with the new brand. We ended up doing things we didn’t anticipate, so I didn’t have a good feel on what to suggest in the beginning; REBL Marketing helped us through all that.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Reb (Founder) and Michelle (PR Director), but we also had an external video team doing work for us.

How did you come to work with REBL Marketing?

They were referred by someone in our network.

How much have you invested with them?

We were spending $1,200 every month of the engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked through October 2020–April 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have any metrics since we haven’t done any marketing yet. They were only focused on the positioning of the brand. In this case, the job performed by REBL Marketing works for us and I’m proud of it. I use the pitch deck as materials for pitching prospects, and it turned out really well. Also, my wife is in marketing for a large company and she loves it.

How did REBL Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fantastic. We got quarterly reports with every task they completed, and we communicated through hour-long weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have a significant marketing background, and Michelle is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. They run a service business, and she was fantastic at it. Their specialties are in the branding and positioning business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d love them to provide something that can bring me leads. I know that isn’t who they are, but it’s something that I think could be beneficial for them. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear understanding upfront of the expectations on both sides; know what you’re trying to get out of the engagement.
