I am an Algorithm Developer at the company which has a heat stress safety device. We have ~15 employees across the US.

We provide a product which offers a solution for workplace safety in the heat stress domain and helps to reduce the possibility of a heat related injuries.

For what projects/services did your company hire quda?

We wanted to develop a Power BI dashboard for which we had a proposed design template. This dashboard was based on the data collected by the heat stress safety device. This dashboard is being used at the company to present the physiology and device related insights to the customer.

We hired Quda to help us with the development of this Power BI dashboard along with other changes needed on the backend.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a well organized, easily deployable and scalable dashboard for the data that we were collecting. It was important for us to be as close to the proposed design to maintain the readability and the user friendly aspect of the data.

We also wanted Quda' team's inputs in the backend tasks required to develop this dashboard in terms of the measures/tables for the visualizations.

SOLUTION

How did you select quda?

My team and I used UpWork to post the projects requirements and time limits. We shortlisted a few proposals from the applications and decided had calls with them to better understand about their experience in the Power BI domain.

Based on the discussion, I thought the Quda team has the experience and resources to develop the Power BI dashboard.

Additionally, they also estimated that they could replicate the Power BI design with ~90% accuracy which was important for us. Their portfolio had many projects which they had worked on previously which was also impressive.

After selecting Quda, we had an initial call, where we defined the goals of the project as well as milestones.

The project was immediately started, with very few inputs required from company's side. We had regular conversations on calls as well as shared channels where we discussed and clarified implementation details.

Quda team was quick to respond as well as make any modifications to the proposed designs. They were always available in the requested US timezone, which made it easier to get quick answers related to Power BI designs.

What was the team composition?

I initially talked with one person from Quda who managed this project. Later as the project started, I also talked to one more developer from Quda.

Any implementation details were discussed with this developer, where as any time and project milestones related points were discussed with the project manager.

We were in conversations with just these 2 people from Quda.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within a month, Quda was able to successfully develop a Power BI dashboard based on the proposed design, with maximum possible accuracy.

This developed dashboard was immediately put to use for the customers. We continue to hear positive feedback about the dashboard from current as well as potential customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Both the project manager and developer were easy to communicate with. We had regular conversations, walk throughs of dashboards.

The Quda team immediately worked on the changes requested and were able to deliver the Power BI dashboard within the decided timeline.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was really impressed with the skills and past projects done by Quda developers. I could see the experience of the person developing our Power BI dashboard.

Both the representatives from Quda were extremely punctual for all the project milestones and timelines. The Quda team was able to develop the proposed Power BI design exactly as per decided scope.

None that I can think about. We were really satisfied with the work done by this team. We would love to work with the Quda team again in the future.

Our goals were to develop a robust acquisitions management tool to use in our day to day operations. We were looking for a partner that would work in an ongoing capacity so that we can make changes as needed with a quick response time and low down time. We have been working with the Quda team for over a year now and plan to continue working with them on this project, as well as several others.

How did you select quda?

When we were bidding for this project, we were looking for a skilled and knowledgeable partner who we would be able to work with long term. Dmytro was very responsive and demonstrated his knowledge with Tableau very early on, so we were comfortable with going forward with our project.

Our project consisted of taking multiple API's from a public data source and mapping them through Tableau to interact with our local data. Our Tableau interface consists of reporting, interactive views, and local maps that display data points to help us make decisions on a daily basis. We are still working in this org to make changes on a weekly basis as our business and needs evolve.

What was the team composition?

We primarily worked with Dmytro who was our project manager. We would schedule weekly Skype calls to review progress and discuss upcoming milestones.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been very happy with the results of the project and plan to use the interface that was developed for the foreseeable future as a main part of our operation. The results have met or exceeded our expectations and we plan to continue working in this capacity with Quda.

Our workflow between teams was very simple. They made it easy to communicate with and to keep in touch with updates on our project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed with the level of knowledge that the team had and how to apply it to our very specific use case. Several other vendors that we spoke with were not interested in taking on the project due to the level of complexity, but Dmytro and Quda were very confident in taking on the project.

We have had no complaints with our working relationship and the results delivered.
