I’m the program manager of a privately-managed financial platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with QU’ARTE?

We were in need of a design agency to help us create our SaaS platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’d initially engaged QU’ARTE for mockups and sketches to get our project rolling. Afterward, though, we decided to rely on them for the platform’s entire development. Their team delivered the end-to-end solution from UX/UI design to the Java backend.

The platform allows for users to log into their accounts to view their stats and available funds. I believe the backend development involved the integration of an API. The internal core system revolves around customer reporting that’s exported to Excel spreadsheets. The QU’ARTE team ran through demos of these functionalities for me on Envisio.

How did you come to work with QU’ARTE?

I chose QU’ARTE because they were immediately responsive, and I also got the sense that the quality of their service was top-notch. They also gave me suggestions and ideas that I hadn’t considered before, which was very helpful.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between March–October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our main metrics were their timeliness, the quality of the platform, and the platform’s response rate. QU’ARTE has done perfectly in all three areas, so we’re more than pleased with the results. They’re truly one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with.

How did QU’ARTE perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was great, as they were very transparent throughout the process. If any issue emerged, we would resolve it immediately by working through it together. Our teams were cooperative and collaborative with each other.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I found their open-mindedness to ideas remarkable; they proposed great suggestions and alternative options. They were also very cost-effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. The project was flawless.

We were working on a niche B2C product with a sophisticated interface and came across Quarte while looking for front-end developers. Although we didn’t originally plan to involve a design agency, we decided to try a few warm-up tasks — and that turned out to be one of our best decisions.

Not only did the overall quality of our product improve dramatically (our earlier prototype lacked a purpose-built design), but the front-end development also became more efficient and cost-effective. The usual 4–5 iterations per feature dropped to just 1–2, since the mockups were precise and ready from the start.

Beyond the interface, we went on to develop social media templates, onboarding workflows, and even new features inspired by the design itself.

A special shout-out to Olena, who managed both the creative process and client communication. She combined creativity with attention to detail and a refined sense of taste — always available when needed and proactive when it mattered.

I highly recommend starting with Quarte the same way we did: begin with a test task and be ready to be positively surprised.

In our specific case, I requested to work directly with the artist, rejecting project manager support, although it was offered by default. Our scope was well-defined, and the timeline was tight; therefore, I wanted to have as much control as possible. Thankfully, the team wasn't offended (maybe they were, for which I already apologized) but the model we picked worked great.
