What challenge were you trying to address with Purpose PR Agency, LLC?

I was working with Purpose PR on branding. I wanted to find ways to get my brand out there and gain more presence on social media platforms for my brand to be recognized.

What was the scope of their involvement?

During our engagement, we’d meet monthly. Some of the creative teammates would discuss ways for me to collaborate with other business owners and brands to make my business sustainable. Those methods included partnering with other companies and having their brands on my website. In terms of branding, they helped me understand that my logo should be memorable. They taught me to choose colors that matched my brand. 

Purpose PR also figured out ways to drive more revenue to my online boutique. They also helped me put myself out there for people to see. Customers loved to see the faces behind brands so that they knew who they were dealing with; I also shared my story. We did these things on Facebook and Instagram.

How did you come to work with Purpose PR Agency, LLC?

I became familiar with Porsha’s work when she worked at a healthcare clinic that I was at, and I continued to follow her when she branched out on her own. She started Purpose PR, and I saw her continue to grow. Her customers also grew, and that made me believe they were the right fit for me.

We spent less than $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2020–February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I didn’t have specific success metrics, but I received plenty of feedback that I wanted to achieve when I started the business. Once we started working with Purpose PR, I received engagements on social media, and customers came to us through my online boutique. Overall, I had more online engagement because of them. 

How did Purpose PR Agency, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was great. They always came prepared to our meetings. They gave me great ideas and made sure that I was on the right track. I also received outlines of what I needed to execute. To communicate, we used Zoom and FaceTime. We didn’t use any other project management tools. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Purpose PR’s one-on-one approach was impressive. They had other clients, but they made me feel like I was their only client. For comparison, other agencies were so big that customers tended to get lost in the shuffle. Meanwhile, my collaboration with Purpose PR was truly nice.

No, there aren’t any.

We hired Purpose PR Agency to help with the promotion of our BlackGuideApp. The goal was to connect our 18 websites and launch our new mobile app to gain new customers that would utilize our website platforms and become future purchasers.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to acquire 2000 app subscribers in the 1st month.

A personal recommendation from a friend.

Pretty Simple ... the scope of work was to promote our app launch and acquire a specified number of subscribers in a given period of time. This would be accomplished via marketing, social media promos, press releases and live interviews (podcasts, social media lives, phone and print interviews).

Just myself working directly with the owner of Purpose PR Agency.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We acquired 1000 app subscribers in the first week and 2500 subscribers in our first month.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great. Porsha (Owner, Purpose PR Agency) was very communicative and kept me updated on every step of the process.

The personal referrals received from associates and her network of connections.

Some goals included to increase bookings, create brand awareness and provide promotion strategies.

Our contract included monthly phone support, the securing of at least 2 celebrity interviews per month, increasing guest and red carpet appearances, social media support and branding and ensuring at least 5 monthly appearances or speaking engagement for our CEO.

Since working with Purpose PR, I have been invited to speak at an International Global Health Forum in Korea as a US representative to raise awareness of sickle cell and the need for African-American blood donors. My company’s growth and success would not have been possible without Purpose PR’s strategic insight and vision.

Purpose PR established good lines of communication and was accessible whenever necessary.

I appreciated their personalized service and investment in their clients.
