• We had over 1,000 views of the microsite in the first week of lauch
• We had extremely positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders
• The microsite's launch had to be moved forward at extremely short notice, but was delivered on time to this tight revised timescale.

As previously mentioned, we had to pull forward the launch of our website by around 4 weeks. Purple Banana did everything to facilitate this, including regular phone calls, meetings, and updates.

Previous to that, we found Purple Banana very communicative and attentive to our needs, and they were very detailed about the project's progress and timescales.

From a personal point of view, I would have perhaps liked to see a few more design concepts for the main colours and branding of the microsite, but we did ask Purple Banana to follow our template and concept.

The client comissioned us to produce their first sustainability report, and the team at Purple Banana were responsible for the production of this from a visual standpoint,ensuring that the final report remained conistent with the client's existing brand guidelines and visual identiy. They designed the overall structure of the 60-page report to accommodate the text and other content, as well as the layout of individual pages, designing key elements like icons and infographics.

Third-party client has won two large contracts for which sustainability was a key factor

End client was extremely pleased with the report, including very positive feedback from senior leadership team. Report was specifically cited as a key factor in client winning two major pieces of new business. Report has been used by client's investors at their conference, showcasing it as an example of best practice. We have been asked to work on the next iteration of this report.

They provided on-demand communications and marketing support - rather than being hired for specific projects. But in terms of some of these larger bits of work Purple Banana did:

Pitch Decks Creation: they created a number of these for proposals that the co-founders put together for larger pieces of work. This involved Purple Banana sitting down with the co-founders to discuss the information being presented and their aims (i.e. winning new projects) and how we could best present that information to prospective clients. Using this, they created pitch decks and proposal materials for client-facing presentations.

Communications Strategy Support: as part of Flex Suisse's growth, the co-founders were very keen to reinforce their position in the market and within the legal sector as the leading supplier of alternative legal support. To facilitate this growth, they worked with us to develop a communications strategy which included:

• press releases
• marketing outreach activities (such as designing webcam covers)
• social media strategy and content creation

I'd say the core steps /deliverables are the fact they were able to provide on-demand support for the Flex Suisse team to facilitate rapid growth over two years.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Purple Banana redesigned and rebuilt our website on Webflow. We collaborated on a new information architecture and sitemap. The team integrated lead generation forms with Google Sheets, including a resource download form, membership inquiry form, contact form, and business supporter brochure request form, all with submission timestamps. They also created a knowledge hub with filtering by resource type.Additionally, Purple Banana built a membership directory displaying our member councils, integrated a newsletter sign-up with Mailchimp, and integrated our CRM with SugarCRM for contact capture. The team set up Google Analytics 4 and built a microsite alongside the main site.We migrated from our previous platform, and Purple Banana provided staff training on Webflow so we could manage and publish content independently. The team also provided ongoing snagging and bug resolution through a warranty period.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Within weeks of launching the new site, it was already doing what we needed it to do — surfacing useful contacts through the lead generation forms that we simply wouldn't have found otherwise. We also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our team, board, and external stakeholders. For a small organization with a limited budget, that's exactly what success looks like.The design was genuinely excellent. Purple Banana listened carefully to our brief and produced something that reflected our brand, values, and audience. The attention to detail — including a 0.09g CO₂/view carbon rating, which matters for a climate organization — showed real craft.We're still in the relatively early stages of tracking performance data post-launch, but the early indicators have been encouraging. Within five days of launch, the knowledge hub resource download form had generated around 11 form submissions, including downloads from organizations we wouldn't have known about without the form capture in place. For a small charity whose previous site had no lead generation capability at all, that was immediately valuable.On technical health, the site's SEO/UX audit score improved from 64 to approximately 90 within the first week post-launch following Purple Banana's systematic post-launch fixes — including resolving 94 dead links carried over from the old site and addressing around 37 external 404s. We also had 78 file download events logged in Google Analytics in the early days post-launch, which we are still working to fully validate via Google Tag Manager.It's still too early for us to report meaningful traffic comparison data against the old site, but the qualitative feedback from staff, board, and external stakeholders has been strongly positive, and the lead generation forms are already doing exactly what they were designed to do.

Communication was consistent throughout a project that, by necessity, involved a lot of moving parts and internal stakeholders on our side. Purple Banana's project slightly ran over its original timeline, though the result justified the wait.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Purple Banana delivered a site we're genuinely proud of, built by a team that clearly cares about the quality of what they produce. For small organizations who want a proper, values-aligned web partner rather than a faceless agency, they're well worth talking to.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Coordination with our internal stakeholders — particularly around the CRM integration — required more intervention from me as the project lead than I had anticipated. There were moments near the end of the build where Purple Banana and our internal teams were coming to me separately rather than working through issues directly with each other. Earlier proactive engagement would have saved some stressful weeks and potentially avoided a last-minute decision to defer part of the integration entirely.Additionally, the sharing of form ownership and access with internal stakeholders post-launch took a little longer than it should have, requiring some back and forth before everyone on our team had the access they needed. Nothing critical, but something to build into the handover process earlier.

After being let down by a previous supplier Charles answered the call to build our webflow site against a challenging deadline. He and the team were tasked with the design and build of the site that comprised 8x pages, 3x forms and a client (me) new to webflow. 
We had the site content planned out but needed someone to bring it to life, including the site aesthetic and all of the technical stuff - tracking, analytics, SEO, Htags etc. We had a challenging deadline, with a view of wanting to push the site live on world mental health day - which was just two weeks away from initial briefing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Charles and the team turned the project around quickly and to an impressive specification within the short timescales imposed. Communications throughout the project were great and since launching we're tracking that our new site is now converting 18% better than our previous - a great achievement by the team and something that we're all really happy with.

All of our requirements were delivered within the deadlines and to a great standard. Very few snags or amends needed which was great. Charles was very responsive on both text and email to share updates and respond to any questions that I had.
