I am the business development sales manager working in wholesale for Micheldever Tyre Services, a wholesale supplier and manufacturer of tires; we are a global company with about 2,000 staff and a few warehouses in the UK. I oversee and coordinate our SMS and email retention marketing campaigns.

One of the core functions of our business is supplying tires to the thousands of independent tire dealers across the UK. However, we also provide additional benefits, like marketing and added-value services, that our tire dealers don't offer in-house.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pure360?

My company needed email marketing services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I utilize Pure360's software platform when running our SMS and email retention marketing campaigns. Since my company acts as a marketing agency for the independent tire dealers we deal with, I use the platform to set up marketing efforts for our dealers and then populate each campaign. Pure360 builds out each dealer's profile, develops the campaigns, and sends out the email templates and SMS messages; then, I monitor the results. 

We also utilize their expertise to improve our dealers' marketing campaigns. The Pure360 team gives me advice on how I can best develop our campaigns to optimize open rates and our CTR. Additionally, Pure360 fulfills our requests to add new features and upgrades to the platform to continue to meet our customer's needs.

We've worked directly with six teammates since the beginning of our engagement. 

How did you come to work with Pure360?

Since my company serves as an agency for independent tire dealers, we needed to ensure that we worked with a company with a lot of experience. Also, we needed to ensure that the company we hired had a system that could deliver what we needed to run campaigns on behalf of multiple companies. So, after a few in-person meetings with Pure360, we decided to hire them. 

How much have you invested in them?

We're paying Pure360 £38,000 (approximately $50,200 USD) for a two-year contract. However, we may end up paying more if we purchase add-on services as we expand into more sophisticated marketing campaigns. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began a two-year contract with Pure360 in May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're very clearly able to see the impact of the work Pure360 has done for us. The easy-to-use platform that Pure360 provides enabled us to grow with increasing dealer demand; we've been able to increase the number of dealerships we're working with and the campaigns we're running. Since May 2021, we've delivered 82 retention campaigns for 61 of our customers. Over the next 12 months, we'll increase our marketing capabilities and deliver over 200 campaigns — we hope to improve the ROI on each of our campaigns. 

We're also now able to monitor campaigns in ways we've previously been unable to do. With Pure360's help, we can purchase specific domain names on behalf of our dealers — it's a very effective practice for improving email open rates for our dealers. 

How did Pure360 perform from a project management standpoint?

Pure360 was great at getting the project up and running. The first stage of our engagement was contact negotiation, which they led very well and then smoothly moved our requirements to their implementation team. They provided us with training on the platform they use and then answered our questions about the platform. They developed the system a bit more and familiarized us with the new changes when we needed to. 

Now, Pure360 can handle the project management for the variety of customers we have, which each have different project requirements. We utilize Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom for our meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive part of working with Pure360 is that they've enabled us to do everything we needed without working with another firm. Other companies I've worked with offer parts of the services we need but can't cover everything. The fact that we're delivering on behalf of so many customers through one firm is impressive. 

Not only that, but Pure360's expertise is excellent — they've helped us develop and improve our campaigns since the very onset of our partnership. For them, our collaboration is about more than just offering us the platform, it's about helping us improve overall.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It is difficult to say they can improve anything because the entire partnership has been a learning process. When we first started the partnership, we learned a hard lesson about having clarity in our project requirements. However, our partnership became more manageable once we recognized and overcame that hurdle. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Future clients need to be as clear as possible about what they're looking for. The clearer the instructions are at the beginning, the more project-appropriate meetings will become as discussions move forward with Pure360.

I'm the marketing consultant for a health and beauty online retailer. We sell a range of products including perfumes, skin care and electronics.

We had previously been using our built in email marketing platform that is part of our website CMS but the results were not great. We engaged Pure360 to help us build a stronger platform with guidance on tactics to increase open and click rates as well as ROI.

We had trialled a few other suppliers in the past but none were very good. We researched and reached out to Pure360 and were then guided through the capabilities by Nathan. He then passed us on to Josh who has been really helpful in getting everything setup.

Josh has been really helpful when it comes to integrating the software with our website, cleaning our lists and making sure we have a full understanding of the whole platform. The team are then on hand with weekly calls to make sure we are using the platform to the best of our abilities. We're looking forward to growing with Pure360 and potentially using other services together.

We've worked with 3 people so far. Nathan was our first point of call from the sales team. He then introduced us to Josh who has helped us from a technical perspective with all of the setup etc. Finally we also have Doug who is our account manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far, the data has been cleaned to provide us with a better base, but we're confident with the comprehensive setup we've had that we will be improving our ROI in no time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used their internal project management system which made it really easy to know what work had been completed and when we needed to anything on our end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Out of all the companies we've used in the past, this was the first really comprehensive setup process. Basically, other companies would let you just send on day one, not knowing if that was the best thing to do. Pure360 takes their time to make sure everything is done correctly.

After original research, the price was competive, but I was most pleased with the people I talked to and would be working with going forward.

The aim is to begin a new newsletter project that is more tailored to our customers. This involves basic presentation for the customer along with the aim of personalisation at a later date.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Still early stages, but the early usability and loom is definitely a positive one.

The team is always available and responds very quickly via email. We then had regular Google meets meetings if any issues arose or usually just to check in and make sure things were running comfortably for us.

Their hands-on and personal approach was really impressive and brought in that team dynamic to move this project forward.

So far so good.
