I'm the director of operations for a company that provides comprehensive compliance and accreditation solutions for independent pharmacies. We help pharmacies meet regulatory requirements, prepare for audits, and stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations through custom programs and 24/7 online support.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pugo Design Studio?

We needed support with a rebranding initiative and ongoing marketing design. As a small team we don't have an inhouse design person or team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pugo Design Studio was responsible for our rebranding initiative and updating all our internal printed materials, digital files, and marketing pieces. The project expanded as we dug deeper into the files within our company. Over the years, we've worked on a wide range of projects, including marketing, trade show booths, promotional items, slide decks for presentations, redesigning our client-facing software platform, and a variety of other projects.We've had everything from branding and logo files in a variety of image file formats, PDFs, and HTML files, and we've used Pugo Design Studio's deliverables in both digital form and hard copy.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Gideon (Founder) on the day to day requests, but many team members have helped with our design work over the year.

Pugo Design Studio was referred to me by a colleague that used Pugo to design their conference marketing and design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received positive feedback from our interactions with clients, vendors, and leads that our marketing material looked very professional. I strongly believe Pugo Design Studio's work helped position us in a better light to have something professionally designed and not done in-house. I've referred other clients and business friends to them over the years and also had this team help with other businesses and foundations I'm involved in.

How did Pugo Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated with Gideon and his team via email. They were very responsive and provided regular updates. Pugo Design Studio always provided anticipated timeframes for initial designs and were very responsive to edits and modifications. Our work together morphed from one project to another, so it's hard to say when one project ended and another one started. I always appreciated the level of follow-up if they hadn't heard back from me in a few days to confirm receipt of deliverables and ask for comments or amendments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Over the years, we've built such a great rapport with Pugo Design Studio, and they really know and understand our branding. When crafting a new project, the 2–3 versions they send over as tests are all very high-quality and in line with what we're looking for. It makes the editing and creative design portion much easier, so I can focus on content. Pugo Design Studio is so polite, professional, and accommodating to our edits.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They've been great, and the time zone difference has worked in our favor. I love submitting a request for an edit today, and usually, when I start work the next day, I have the feedback or edit I've requested.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Pugo Design Studio has an excellent understanding of our needs and produces quality work. The team has incredibly prompt communication and very fast turnaround times. For example, we receive the first drafts within 1–2 days and the finished designs within the same week. These fast turnaround times and understanding of project requirements have saved us a lot of time going through revisions.

How did Pugo Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Pugo Design Studio is the fastest design team we’ve ever used. Moreover, they don’t inflate hours in time reports and have transparent cost reporting. Costs are very reasonable for the high level of service provided.

Moreover, I’m impressed by their ability to create something when I don’t know exactly what I want yet but give me a couple of options.
