We needed to find an Apex developer to build our Salesforce application.

The project is still a work in progress. We’ve already agreed with Prism Solutions on some deliverables, and the maintenance is included. They use Apex as the development language.

Essentially, the tool enables sales professionals to access a database of companies with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings. Then, users can add businesses to the Salesforce CRM and check the company's status using ESG intelligence.

What was the team composition?

We interact with two people: the owner and one of the head developers. We speak to them daily.

How did you come to work with Prism Solutions?

We didn’t have the necessary skills, so I reached out to them through Fiverr.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent between £7,000–£8,000 (approximately $8,500–$9,700 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2022, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For us, the mark of success is having a fully-functional product. We initially agreed on having two pieces of work; in terms of sophisticated measures, we don’t have that, but we have a QA process to decide whether something is acceptable.

How did Prism Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Unfortunately, they haven’t met deadlines all the time. At the beginning of a project, it’s hard to estimate how long it will take, and some things take longer than originally planned. Although some things are out of their control, sometimes they don’t estimate the timelines correctly.

We use Trello as a project management tool to track specific deliverables for every project phase. We also use Slack to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their pricing is very competitive, the team has good availability, and their level of English proficiency is excellent. Moreover, the quality of the code is outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although we’ve had a good experience working with them, constructively, there have been a couple of times when communication hasn’t been great. Our expectations haven’t always been met as much as we’d like. In general, communication, account management, deliverables, and timelines could improve.

We’ve also had to chase updates ourselves. Sometimes Prism Solutions is busy working with other customers, but that sometimes makes us feel like we’re not their priority. In that sense, they could be more proactive and available.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d recommend Prism Solutions for their development skills and pricing. However, you’ll need someone to dedicate their full time to manage the project. Prism Solutions is great at adapting to western working hours, but despite these advantages, I’d suggest future clients be careful in terms of time and resources to manage the project.

We hired Prism Solutions to create a fully custom Salesforce based platform used prospecting and deal and career management.

I selected Prism based on their technical know how, experience, and overall professionalism when it comes to managing their projects.

Sales force lighting custom pages, with multiple API integrations. There is not much this team cannot do when it comes to Salesforce dev.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We typically have a development team of 2-3 programmers and a project manager / QC person.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project has met my original scope and development plan. We continue to build new features to give our agents the absolute best platform in the industry.

The team primarily uses Asana, combined with video/Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are always willing to make features happen. This is a refreshing attitude.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Quality control could be improved. We are developing quickly and sometimes this creates bugs that need to be fixed frequently.

We had to move all of our data from an old database to Salesforce. Prism Solution and the team where hired to move data from a 30M company with big operations in 3 states.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We research the web trying to find the right company to do such a big data transaction. Prism Solutions came up with the best strategy and that's how we made our decision. Based on the professionalism of your strategy to deliver the project.

We had 3 meetings with them before making the decision to grant them the project. Prism solutions presented us with a very professional proposal where they explained the steps they would take and the way to execute the work seemed correct to us. The technologies to use were Asana as a communication tool with the team. and the technologies to implement were custom code for Salesforce integration. We also use Docusign to integrate as a plugin.

Prism Solution assigned a team of 5 people to our project. We were very happy with their work and perform.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Today we have salesforce as the CRM system in our company thanks to Prism Solutions. All we can say is that we were very happy with the professionalism of the team. They deliver every section of the salesforce project on time. We had some issues with one customer but the team was able to came up with a good solution.

Prism solutions uses Asana to communicate. We never use that tool before. We were concern of using a new technology to communicate with them. But in the end everything was easy and well documented.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found very impressive the professionalism and leadership of Aasia. She was available most of the time to respond all of our questions. She is highly recommended and capable of undertaking large scale projects

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall we had an excellent experience with Prism Solutions

### Integration from .Net to Salesforce
This project requested by the client required transfer of data primarily, billing information to be migrated/transferred in Salesforce. Problem at hand: - Multi relational data was unsorted and stored in a single file - The data required to be sorted into different independent Tables/objects - Connecting .Net with Salesforce was one of the challenges - Major problem in governor limitations Solution implemented: - Divided a single the multi relational file into required objects files - Created a connected app and used its credentials to connect Salesforce with .Net - To resolve the issue of less than required available API calls, started sending bulk data per API call - Wrote custom triggers to create a relation between parent account and the bill

The client's requirement was to have a calendar where they could see all car bookings and reservations. We have built a custom calendar in LWC with a Javascript library. This calendar has multiple views for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.  They can also select dates from the calendar and see bookings specific to the relevant date range. They can book cars directly from the calendar screen.
