Please describe your company and your position there.

Suswatantra Innovation Labs is aiming at building an ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned entrepreneurs in India to provide a wide array of services based on their paint points which can facilitate them to achieve that necessary breakthrough in their business. The company is yet to start the operations, I am the CEO once it starts its operations(By Jan 2021).

For what projects/services did your company hire Prabal Design?

We found that there is a huge market gap between aspiring entrepreneurs and access to knowledge and resources in India. We wanted to address through various services by creating a thriving atmosphere.

The challenge is we were unable to build a structured flow for our organisation, a business model which is scalable and independent of people’s personal capabilities. A software application which can be used to track the activities and progress of the people taking our services.

What were your goals for this project?

One of the tangible goals is it should attract investments from our network. Serious investors have immediately agreed to invest in the project and now working on the share patterns.

How did you select Prabal Design?

We have come across Prabal from one of their customers who is a member of our network and we have liked their approach. We have considered them out of four companies.

A committee of 4 members have finalised them as the final vendor We have followed the below parameters.

1. Capability to facilitate in translating our idea and vision to a business model and a system).
2. Experience in these kind of projects.
3. Feedback from their customers. T

They were ready to be part of this project unlike others. Their adherence to their process(they have presented an estimate only after having 2 rounds of stake holder meetings and setting right expectations).

Describe the project in detail.

The scope is too huge to be described here, cos this is something that didnot happen in India(Our country earlier). No player till date addressed the issue from all the perspectives. I was the head of this committee. We did give them the background for this. Based on which they did their research on multiple fronts(which we didnot even think and assumed at). They are responsible for Organization Design Business model Application design Be part of stake holder meets and investor pitch.

What was the team composition?

We were given a SPOC for all the updates and coordination apart from the time invested by CEO. As they were always on time or at times ahead of time, we didn’t even bother about how many people they have allocated for the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had a well defined document, that can clearly establish the objectives and business goals of the organisation. An application that can go live within two months after we get our initial investments.

We could attract investments faster than what we have assumed because of their proactive approach. Most of them are awestruck, everyone of them candidly accepted that they have not seen a product and model that is covering so many facets so seamlessly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their process is much refined. They never assume or take things for granted, they keep coming back with multiple questions to facilitate and deliver a project. They always exceeded our expectations in terms of quality in their work. They pay huge attention to every detail that as a customer you don't have to break your head to sit and explain them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Processes that are customer centric and a mindset that always focuses on how to put forward the point that safeguards the interests of clients.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing much.

I am the founder & CEO of this company. We act as an intermediate between the customer and the lender/insurer. Our Team size is of 10 and 150+ vendors. We started our operations in 2016. We have around 2000+ customers in hyd.

Developing website. Need application for lead generators pan India and customized software for our customer management. Digitalization Branding Increasing sales by 200% Achieving 1000 crores target in next 5 years

Describe the project in detail.

We sat and explained about the work flow of each product which we sell to customer. How to automate lead process? Normally we used to call bank for offers. Website was build with good design in 15 days.

What was the team composition?

Initially I was assigned to one Associate who took all process details from us. Then we sat with designer and Strategist and developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

People are really happy with the new brand name and website design. We started digital marketing. Leads have increased. Manual process got decreased. Investors are happy

We had review every week. Detailed discussion was done before going ahead. Project manager was good . They positively took all our feedback from us and rectified the same.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Quality was good. Our project is still going gone.I am happy till now . They are very fast and always met their deadlines.

How did you select this vendor?

With the reference of my friend i met Prabal Team, after discussing with them i understand that not only UX/UI but also they can provide the strategy, I have chosen Prabal for the Product design.

after selecting this vendor, we had Stakeholder workshop, User discussions, Ideation and Design execution phases. I have contributed in product feature finalization, Vendor is responsible for the UX/UI Design & prodcut strategy.

We have started the Project in April,2019. With in 2 months we have completed the market research and finalized the product features, next 6 months we have completed the design for V1.0 , now we are working on mobile application design.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of Smarthealth. We are an analytics company that is developing a healthcare platform for doctors and service providers.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Prabal Design?

In order to properly digitize healthcare cards, we needed help with the design side of our service. We wanted a partner to help us determine the best format to fit the needs of both doctors and patients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In a briefing, we described the product we wanted, which was a single screen that allowed doctors to manage every part of their patient interactions. We wanted the system to capture all relevant information and present it to the doctor in an analyzed and condensed format. Prabal Design is handling the whole project from scratch.

The solution has two parts. First, it allows the doctor to capture the interaction with the patient and record the reason for the visit, background information, examination details, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Second, it also lets doctors track the patient’s medical history, past appointments, current medicine prescriptions, outcomes, and reactions. With all of this information, doctors can make more informed predictions and recommendation and avoid potential risks.

We’re currently in between development phases. We’re recording user feedback before moving forward with the process. At some point, we plan to create a social feature that facilitates collaboration between doctors to discuss patient cases and data.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Prabal Design’s CEO and chief designer. We also work with three other resources.

How did you come to work with Prabal Design?

After a two-month search, I came across an education solution that Prabal Design built. I liked the system’s flow their UI/UX work, so I reached out to their team.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested between $10,000–$50,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2018 and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received positive feedback from doctors. They really appreciate the technology because it’s pretty new to the healthcare industry in our region. We’re waiting for more feedback before we move on with the development.

How did Prabal Design perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m happy with their level of communication, transparency, and responsiveness. Their team is extremely professional. We mainly interacted through Zoom and we set up a Google Drive to share content.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did more background work than I expected. Apart from talking with our team, they also spoke to doctors to get a better understanding of the requirements. Their involvement was key and we’re confident the system will benefit users.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We would’ve liked more options in terms of design.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Prabal Design?

We needed a new design partner to help build our online networking platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prabal Design is currently designing our web portal and application. They calibrated the scope, workflows, and product from a UX perspective. Our platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The developers use Node, MongoDB, and all the latest digital technologies. The team conducts QA testing and researched our specific user demographics. They’re comfortable and experienced with complex workflows.

What is the team composition?

We work with a team of 3-4 designers. My main point of contact is Srinivas (Chief Designer & CEO, Prabal Design).

How did you come to work with Prabal Design?

I was looking for a local provider. A mutual friend gave me their contact information.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $3,000-$3,500 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2017 and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our platform hasn’t launched yet, but I’m more than satisfied so far.  Prabal Design thoroughly understands our requirements. They’ve already completed a section of the application. Some of our key customers are using the beta version. Users are very happy with the platform. They’ve noted how well the design has evolved and praised the easy navigation.

How did Prabal Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, Prabal Design organizes the work effectively. The product is so complex that we completely understand why we’ve had some challenges. It took a couple iterations before we met all the requirements. We use email, Skype, and shared drives to collaborate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prabal Design conducts extensive market research to find ways to improve. They carefully analyze the scope of comparable existing products. The team has a strong sense of what our users need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, we experience lapses in status updates.  I’d appreciate more transparency on the status, rather than having to ask about it myself.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Prabal Design to any company who needs a knowledgeable and reliable vendor.
