1. Industrial Product Design

Delivered a premium aesthetic design for the product, tailored for prominent placement in modern kitchens, offices, and bedside environments.
Developed a suite of customizable casing options, including multiple 3D-printable finishes and color variations to align with diverse user preferences and interior décor.
Integrated user-centered design principles to enhance daily usability and encourage routine adherence through visual and tactile cues.
2. Mechanical Design & Engineering

Engineered a modular three-part hardware system—each designed for durability, ease of use, and manufacturing efficiency.

3. Prototyping & Visualization

Delivered high-fidelity concept sketches, 3D CAD models, and rendered visualizations showcasing multiple design iterations.
Produced functional prototypes to validate ergonomics, mechanical tolerances, and overall user interaction with the product.

The project is currently in circulation for the first user testing. Intial feedback has been positive for design athetic.

We held two weekly meetings to structure the project workflow.

-Monday meetings focused on setting objectives for the week and aligning expectations.
-Thursday meetings were dedicated to showcasing progress and reviewing deliverables.
-All work was shared on Miro for collaborative review, and product demos were recorded and distributed.

Deliveries were consistently on time, with clear communication around what could realistically be achieved within each week.

What I found most impressive about Plasticlab was their ability to rapidly transform my concept into a functional prototype with remarkable speed and precision. Their turnaround time has exceeded my expectations, and they've maintained clear, consistent communication throughout the entire process. The combination of technical skill, efficiency, and professionalism truly set them apart.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Plasticlab could have done differently?

With the scope of work we had, where they couldnt do something they were clear to set the expectations. Due to this clear communication i didnt feel they disppointed in anyway.

Functioning proof of concept prototype delivered. Refinement and DFM still ongoing.

Timely and responsive. Be aware that if you are used to long American work days, they operate on a more rigid European 9-5, no weekends type of schedule.

The team at Plasticlab is extremely professional, reflected in the thoroughness of their weekly calls. They do great weeks in review, take feedback well, and rally around our company vision.

More frequent contact for real-time iteration. This is a critique I have of most if not all development groups. If this were amended, they would be the best I've ever worked with.

We have hired Plasticlab for various projects with the goal to produce CAD drawings and prototype(s) for our designs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I met the owner of Plasticlab via a mutual friend. They had the portfolio of past projects that convinced me that they could do a good job for us.

We had a series of Zoom meetings to discuss the parameters of our initial project. From there the team at PL developed sketches, working drawings and prototypes to our satisfaction.

The key individual working with us at the time was the owner. He then communicated what our needs where to his team.

The general outcome of each project was very positive. Their team met all our target deadlines.
